One day Caroline and her mother were walking to the park. Caroline loved the park. She loved playing on the swing set. That was her favorite part of the park.

She asked her mom, “Can I go play?”

“Yes, of course,” her mom told her. “Just stay where I can see you.”

“Okay, mommy!”

As Caroline was walking to the swings she saw her friend Lola. They decided to go play on the playground instead of the swings. Caroline and Lola were having fun playing on the monkey bars, slides, and in the sand box. While Caroline and Lola were walking to the swings they both spotted a baby doll. Both girls raced to the doll and tugged and pulled till Caroline lost grip of the doll .

Caroline cried, “Mommy, mommy!” Her mother ran towards the girl as well as Lola's mother.

“ What is the matter with you?” asked Caroline's mother.

“She took the doll away from me!” she yelled. Caroline's mother looked at Lola's mother. She had taken the doll away from the little girl.  

Then asked politely, “Is this your daughters baby doll?”

“No it's not” replied Lola's mother. “I thought it was Caroline’s”

“Oh no,” said Caroline's mother. “Can we talk for a second?” she asked Lola's mother.

“Yes of course,“ Lola's mother responded.

As they turned their backs to the children Caroline's mom whispered, “I got an idea on how we can fix this! Lets show the girls how to share.”

All four headed to the sandbox and sat down. The girls looked at eachother confused at what was going on. They asked their mothers, “what is going on?”

They replied, “We are going to teach you two girls how to share since you are fighting over a doll.”

So Lola's mom started playing with the doll she asked Caroline's mom, “hey, do you want to play with me and my doll? We can share it and have lots of fun?”

“Yes of course!” replied Caroline's mother. As they played with the doll, a little girl was walking their way with her mother.
