All parts of your body are very
important. It is all one complete system
that creates you. Each one does it’s job
to keep the bad parts out so that you can
stay happy and healthy. I can show you
what parts of my body do to help my stay
healthy.
I’ll begin with what in my head first.
This is Nathan Neuron. He is a cell in my
brain. His job is to control the Frontal,
Parietal, Occipital, and Temporal Lobe.
Each part has it’s own job. They all control
different parts of my body, including movements,
emotion, growth, and it even control my organs.
At the bottom of the brain, Stanley controls the
message room. After Nathan Neuron creates a
message to the rest of my body, Stanley sends
it out through the brainstem.

As we go down, we pass Coney and
Ersela. They work tirelessly to help me see
and hear.
We have now stopped at the mouth. When we swallow, food gets pushed down into the stomach by cells that work in the mouth and the esophagus. The esophagus is the tube that food goes down to reach my stomach.
Before we reach the stomach, we have
a few places to visit. The first organ is the
lungs. Take a big deep breathe. You lungs
have just moved in and out to take in oxygen.
Oxygen is the most important thing you need
to stay alive. So Larry the lung cell has a
very special job.

Next we have reached the heart. This
is a very special organ as well. It pumps
blood to the rest of you body. Brady the
blood cell carries oxygen to the rest of your
organs so that all function perfectly. If the
oxygen doesn’t reach your organs they don’t
work. The heart is one of the strongest
muscles in your body and has many different
parts that make it work. My heart is very
healthy don’t you think?

We’re going down just a smidge.
After bouncing past the lungs we hit the
liver. All that blood that’s so important has
to be cleaned. The liver cleans the blood
of any food so that it can be safe for the
rest of your body.

We have finally reached the stomach.
After all the eating, the food has to go somewhere.
Remember that large tube I mentioned
earlier called the esophagus? What does that
do again? The food travels to the stomach.
The stomach then breaks down the food and
separates them.It keeps the stuff you need
and the waste that turns into the number
two that we shall not mention.

The stomach is not the only organ
that has this job. The large and small intestine
plays a major part in creating number two
and your toots. And then all that good stuff
they take away from your last night’s dinner
is used in other parts of your body.
