is for Africa
Africa is one of the seven continents. Surrounded by water on all sides and with 54 states. Holding the worlds largest desert that covers up more land than the United States.


is for Berlin Conference
The Berlin Conference was a huge meeting that people from all over came to. They came to make a deal with other countries about what parts of Africa they would get. It had people from Europe, Italy, and many other places.


is for Cattle

Cattle is a huge farming resource for the people in Africa. They sell, trade, and live off their profit. Some people have their entire life dependent on cows.





is for Diamonds

Diamonds are one of Africa's most prized natural resources. People will come together and search for them all over. These rocks are worth a lot more then you might think.



is for Europeans

Europeans are people that had travled from Europe. They were called by different names and sent by different cultures to claim land for their country. All of the European people attended the Berlin conference.
is for FuFu

Fufu is a type of food from Africa. Thought it as a funny name it is one of the most commonly used/eaten food on that continent.
It's a type of dough that is used as a main dish .

is for Gold

Gold is a very popular natural resource used in Africa and all over the world. Most of the time the gold that is dug up from the grown is shipped in big boats to different countries.
People use gold to trade and pay for most things.

is for Hot!

The weather in Africa is almost always hot! With all the sun and dry deserts no wonder why it's always scorching. But, there are also so places where rain forests are green and lush, and mountains are covered in snow.



is for Independence

From where all of the Europeans had taken control of Africa. The people's freedom was taken away. In the late 1900's all of the African people were granted their independence (freedom)





is for Jewlery

Jewlery is a sort of clothing that women and men like to wear. The women of Africa wear long beaded necklaces, headbands made of leaves, and shell bracelets. Sometimes the natives of Africa would use jewelry as a proposal for marriage or peace.



is for Kaftan

Kaftans are robes that most African women and children wear. Some are made from silk and cotton, but mustily the colorful patterns are the thing people focus on. These were sometimes worn during religious ceremony.


is for Lamban

Lamban is a dance that originate in Africa. They use this dance at festivals and funerals. To celebrate about life.
is for Merchants

A person that sells good and services to people for the right pay. Merchant travel all over to sell. Also it's their job to supply their buyers with popular updated stuff.

is for Nile

Nile is one of the longest river in the world. It flows from Egypt and then drains into the Mediterranean sea. Also, it is one of the 10 rivers in the world that flows north.
is for Ocelot

An ocelot is a small wild cat. It almost looks like a tiny leopard. The ocelot lives in more temperate locations like in rain forests.

is for Patpat

The pat-pat is a dance that originated from Senegal, Africa. It's exactly what is sounds like. They papat is a dance thats main move is for your hands to pat you legs. Funny right!
