Hello! I'm Rose Wilder Lane and I'm here to tell you about all the wild things my mother, Laura Ingalls Wilder, did through out her life.

Most folks know that my ma wrote "Little Cabin in the Big Woods" and "Little House on the Prairie." 'Sides that people don't know much about her,
so I am here to tell her story.

This is a picture of my Grandpa Charles Ingalls and my Grandma Caroline Quincer Ingalls. The had my ma on February 7th, 1867 in a cabin in Pepin, Wisconsin just like the one on the next page. This would later become the setting for her first book, Little Cabin in the Big Woods.

Replica of the house my ma was born in.
My ma also had a sister named Mary that was two years her older, a sister named Carrie that was three years her younger, a brother names Charles called "Freddie" who was eight years younger than her, and finally a sister named Grace that was 10 years younger than my ma. That's right I had three aunts and one uncle.

Here's a family portrait. From left to right: Grandma , Aunt Grace, Ma, Grandpa, Aunt Carrie, and Aunt Mary. Uncle Freddie isn't in this picture because he died when he was just nine months old.
My ma lived in many places growing up and throughout her life. Here's a list of places she lived, and how long she lived there. The map on the next page show where she lived.
