"Everybody loves monsters."
- Peter CapaLdi

Clementine Sparrow was one brave little girl. She wasn't afraid of the Boogeyman or monsters hiding under her bed or in the closet. She kept all the kids in the neighbourhood safe from bad dreams. It was that courage that caught the eye of the Monster Investigation Unit. They were a team of specialists who dealt with spooky creatures. They immediately flew Clementine to headquarters in Washington, D.C.

MONSTER INVESTIGATION UNIT

"Gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to Clementine Sparrow. She's the latest addition to the MIU team." "You gotta be kidding Chief. She's like 8 years old" one of the agents said trying not to laugh. "She'll be handling the Frankenstein case." The smiles on the faces of the agents quickly disappeared at the very mention of the name Frankenstein. They both turned pale and excused themselves.

It was a beautiful day outside and two happy little kids were enjoying the fresh air. A large green monster was watching them from behind a tree, too shy to approach them. After mustering up some courage, he walked over to the pair and said, "That looks like fun. Can I play?" Terrified, the children ran away leaving the monster feeling sad.

The monster continued to search for new friends when he came upon a pair of kids playing football. "Okay Jimmy, go deep" one of the boys said throwing the ball as far as he could. It landed at the feet of the monster. "Football! I love football" the monster excitedly said as he picked up the ball. Not knowing his own strength, he accidentally crushed the football sending the boys running into the woods.

"Hi there big green guy. Aww, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Here's a flower I just picked. Would you like to have it?" The monster took the flower from the little girl's hand and smiled. "I guess you and I are friends now. Do you wanna play?" The monster nodded as the pair headed off into the woods.

CREEPY MONSTER JAIL

"And that's the last we've heard about the monster or the little girl. Her parents are very worried about her. We don't have much information about the monster but we do have someone in custody that does. Hopkins, please escort the young lady into The Creepy Monster Jail. Be careful Clementine. There are some real scary monsters inside."

Clementine walked past a group of creepy monsters locked in their jail cells, including a werewolf, a ghost, and a vampire. They all hissed and growled at her but she ignored them continuing down the hall. There was one voice though that was about to give her the chills. "Good evening, Clementine."

"Oh my Darling, Oh my Darling, Oh my Darling Clementine. You are lost and gone forever, Dreadful sorry, Clementine." "Doctor Frankenstein." "You are correct dear. Can I see your credentials Clementine?" he asked as she nervously showed him her Monster Inspection License. "Very impressive. What brings you here to visit me?" "I need your help to find Frankenstein."

Dr. Frankenstein began to shake the bars of his jail cell as he shouted "No! No! No! He's Frankenstein's monster. His name is not Frankenstein! Why does everyone call him that? His name is Francis!" "Is everything okay Agent Sparrow?" "Yes guard. I just need a few more minutes with the good doctor" Clementine muttered, still in shock from the doctor's outburst.

"Listen Frankenstein, I need your help. I'm not afraid of spiders, monsters, or even you. If you're not willing to cooperate then you can spend the rest of your days with these other creeps behind bars. And furthermore....are you crying?" "You're being so mean to me. Okay, I'll help. Just no more yelling." "Thank you."
