This is Kaleb. He is a boy who loves his friends, and his mom. He loved his mom because she always got toys or treats for him. He never bought anything by himself before.

Kaleb also liked his crush, Luna. She was the prettiest girl in the neighborhood, but she hung out with the SABB, the Super Awesome Bad Boys. While Kaleb wasn't a bad boy himself, he tried to fit in with the SABB to hang out with Luna.

One day, Kaleb’s mom told him to go to the store by himself to go get some chocolate bars for her special triple chocolate chip cookies. “Whatever you do, don't buy something besides the chocolate bars.” She added.

As Kaleb walked outside, he ran into his friends and asked if they wanted to come to see how grown up and cool he was to go shopping by himself. “Sure we’ll come with you,” said Tony, the leader of the SABB. “We’ll even teach you how to buy things on your own.”

When they got to the store, Kaleb immediately saw the chocolate bars. As he went to grab them however, he saw it: the Super Deluxe Edition Tetroman Action Figure! He had always wanted this toy ever since it showed on TV.

“Wow!” Tony exclaimed. “The Super Deluxe Edition Tetroman Action Figure! You’ve got to get it!”

“Yeah! Yeah!” said the rest of the SABB. Luna looked worried.

“I don’t know, guys,” Kaleb worried. “My mom said-”

“Who cares what your mom says!" Tony shouted. "If you want something, you get it! That’s how money works. Everyone here knows that, and that’s why you will never be cool enough to hang with SABB, unless you get the Super Deluxe Edition Tetroman Action Figure!” 

Kaleb looked down. He wanted to make his mom happy by getting the chocolate bars, but he also wanted the toy, to be with his friends, and to be with Luna. So, he mustered up his courage, and got the action figure off the shelf.

As Kaleb walked to the checkout line, he remembered something his mom told him a few weeks back...
