In 1607 James the zookeeper  decide that there wasn't enough space for the animals in the England zoo. He decided to colonize the new zoo . He wanted to get all the money and new space.

Some of the animals decide they wanted another place so that they could make money and have more freedom to do what they wanted.

James the zookeeper really never gave the animal's choice. He was super bossy.

 on November 15, 1777 the animals got together and decided they needed to pick leader.

Casey the cat brought everybody cookies so that they wouldn't have to meet on an empty stomach. Then the animals started talking about what they wanted from their leader .

Manny the mouse said he can't be to powerful and bossy like James.

Paul the pig said he should have to have 9 out of the 13 animal pens permission to change something that will affect them.

Matt said how many people are need to change the law. Multiple of the animals chanted " everybody ! ".

They started turning to zebra . Then somebody yelled Zack The zebra   would be the best choice . He won't boss us around since he is really nice so we can have more freedom.  

He is also big enough to protect us but not to strong that he scares all of us like James did .

After they picked Zack The zebra the new zoo ran okay for a little bit. Then one big problem came up Zack didn't have any money to get any new materials and pens for the different zoo sections .

He couldn't even fix any of the walk ways.  With the type of rules they had Zack could only ask the different areas of the zoo to chip in they they didn't have a law saying they had to pay.

The animals quickly realized it was a problem then when they tried to vote they realized it wasn't fair because the aquatics section got the same amount of votes as the Savannah but , the aquatics had way more people to represent.

They decided that they need a new set of laws they didn't feel like these a laws united them.

On May 25 to September 17, 1787 the animals got together and had multiple meetings . They wanted to create new laws that were better.
