Based on Chinese Mythology

A long, long time ago, in Ancient Imperial China (to be more exact, the Shang dynasty), there was a flourishing prosperous empire. That empire was ruled by a just and benevolent emperor and inhabited by his people. Some were farmers and matchmakers, but all of the people were either man, woman, or child. The farmers produced many foods, such as rice, wheat, potatoes, and so on. The matchmakers would decide whom the people would be married to. The children would help out their families at home.
Among the farmers was a 17 year old young man named Shang Wu. He was no better than the other farmers, and tried to do his best to make enough money to put food on the table. However, this boy was destined for great things, he just didn’t know it yet.
One of Shang’s favorite things to do after a hard day’s work was to read. During a break from farming he looked at the bookshelf in his house, however he read just about all of them. He wanted a new adventure and tired of the old ones, so he went to the library and looked for a book that interested him.
“Hmm I wonder what book would be the best,” Shang thought to himself as he searched for a new book.
For a while, Shang could not find a book that interested him, until he saw a dark-purple book. He took it out of the bookshelf and read the title.
“Dark Legends and Prophecies,” He read out loud, “Sounds interesting.”
He then proceeded to check out the book. He looked for an interesting legend. The one that interested the most was called, “The Shadow Dragon.” As he read, he started to panic. The warnings of this prophecy, were the odd things he noticed.
He ran to the emperor’s palace. But was stopped by two guards. Shang requested to see the emperor saying that this was urgent. The guards allowed him to go forward.
When he met the emperor, the emperor didn’t believe him at first, but when he started to read it, he began to worry. That’s when a roar came from outside.
A dragon appeared outside, and started eating the sun. His scales were so bright, that anyone who dared to look at them directly would be blinded instantly. As the dragon continued to eat the sun, the emperor called upon the gods. He asked them to bring forth the one who could help them in their time of need: The Shadow Wizard.
In a snap, the legendary wizard came out of nowhere to help them
