There once was a carrier pigeon whose name was Elsa. She was from Spain and her mission was to deliver messages, letters and other things around Europe.
At the time, there weren’t phones or computers. Elsa stood out because of her speed and friendliness.

Hi! I am Elsa and I'm from La Mancha

The morning before a trip, Elsa always thought about her first stop and
what she had to do.
The first stop was London, the capital of the United Kingdom,
and the message was for a boy who worked there. His mother hadn't seen
him for 4 years, so she wrote a letter for him.

Elsa had to start her trip on December, but she had a cold and it took her one month to get to London.
During the trip, she fell down and hurt her wing. When Elsa gave the message to the boy, he saw that she was wounded. He treated her and Elsa recovered completely, so she could continue her trip.
Thank you for giving me a bandage!

Look! It's the Big Ben!

The next destination was Amsterdam, the capital of The Netherlands.
The message was for a girl who was working as a nurse in this country. Her boyfriend wanted to send her a love letter and a package for her birthday.

A love letter! I love it!

After two days, Elsa arrived in the city. Everything was going well when, suddenly, an eagle started to chase her. Elsa tried to avoid it with her swift wings, but she couldn't fly faster because she was very tired and the eagle scratched her tail with its claws.
A flock of pigeons had seen the scene, so they took Elsa to the hospital, where the boy's girlfriend was working.

Don't be bullies, kids! Be friendly, like the pigeons who help me.
The girl took her carefully and healed her tail. After that, she read the letter, where her boyfriend talked about his feelings and wedding plans.
Then, she opened the package, which contained a lovely ring.
The girl was grateful and gave Elsa a small bag with food and water.

Elsa's next stop was Austria, specifically the capital of the country: Vienna.
This city is known for being the city of music.
The next addressee was a woman who lived in the north of Vienna. Elsa was so excited to see the city; she had heard so many good things about it that she couldn’t wait any longer! She wanted to learn about its music, culture and traditions.

Look at Vienna! There I go!
