The sun was shining brightly in the beautiful land of JungleVille Cazaron. Cameron and Susie, next door neighbours and best friends, had just finished school at around 1:30. They were very happy to walk and talk all the way home together, even though it was quite a long walk to home.

They were mostly happy to walk home since they were best friends, but also because they knew what was waiting for them near home. It was also the place where Susie and Cameron had met. They now called it, 'The green pond spot.' The pond itself wasn't actually green, but with the sun shining through the big tree leaves, it made the pond seem a beautiful, fresh, glowing green.

The kids adored this spot as it was where they would unwind in silence and take in the nature around them. They would place themselves on an old broken down palm tree, where the bushes and sap and water and sun had all mixed and created in some way, a forest couch. And just to make the spot even better, they would munch down on a nice ham and cheese sandwich. It was the perfect way to relax after a stressful day of school.

So, the kids did as they would do. Go to their houses, get the ham and cheese outa the fridge, chuck on bread with a little bit mayo, and then hop on over to the green pond. They were feeling as they normally did. Happy, joyful and free. But something wasn't there. The vibes, the feeling. Like, someone else was there, like it was taken. The spot, the atmosphere, the light and the birds singing. It all seemed, a bit weird.

Something doesn't feel right Susie
Yeah, I know

They couldn't explain the feeling, but they knew each other felt it without talking. It was earie to the feeling you get when you feel like someone's watching you. They then glanced over to peer on what felt like a sacred bench for them. And immediately, they jumped back, without even seeing the figures full body. The three limbs they glimpsed at in that short period of time was enough to scare the kids. They looked at each other with faces of surprise, and confusion.

What is that!?!?

mmmhurphmhmff!
In all the four years the kids had been coming to the spot never once had they seen an animal in there spot. But Cameron and Susie did not feel like giving up the spot. They quickly realised they still had there mostly uneaten sandwiches, their legs still ached from the walk home, and they still hadn't taken in the relaxation of the forest after school.

I still want to sit down in our spot. Screw that monkey!

mmm narf narf narf
So Susie stomped over to the green lake spot, with Cameron following less confidently, and asked the monkey, which they could see was looking at them now, "Excuse me, umm, who are you?"

Umm, who are you?!
The monkey had a rare expression, which it moved its head forward and stated, "Me? I am Monkey Megget. I am the creator of this part of the forest, Oogiechap. I even made this very couch I am resting on. I flooded this ditch to create a pond, and moved the leaves on the trees to make beautiful mirages of green sunshine." The kids were very surprised and admired at the work Monkey Megget had SAID she'd done, as the kids weren't fully trusting of her words.

I'm monkey Megget and I made this whole part of the jungle!!
Wow!
"Well, you see Monkey Megget, we've been sitting here and coming after school for the past four years, and, well" "Well what!?" Monkey Megget interrupted. "Well, we would just like to hang out here again and relax, and you're in our spot." "No. I made this spot and you young stupid kids won't take it away from me!!!" Monkey Megget erupted. So, the kids walked back home, the most upset they had felt in a long time.

Leave you brats and never come back. This is my spot!!

Oh. Ok
Both kids entered their home upset telling their parents what had just happened. They were furious and wanted help and answers. Cameron's father Henry told Cameron that evil monkey Megget was being stupid and that they had every much of a right to go to the green pond as she did. He also told evil monkey Megget had been around for a long time in this jungle, and was notorious for manipulating people's minds by lying and creating rumours. Henry said she'd even been known for tricking people like the president's mind to giving more funding for the monkeys.
