On a peaceful and silent night the moon was sleeping like a baby. All of the sudden the moon heard the sound of a rooster crowing as the sun started to appear.

Good Morning Moon! said the sun.

The moon glared at him , and in a very low voice he said, "Yeah.. Good Morning." The sun was so happy that he couldn't tell that there was anything wrong with moon.

The sun moved on with his day still not noticing the moon's sadness. Sun was going to the store and had asked if Moon wanted to come with. Moon said no. Sun asked if he wanted to go play baseball. Moon said no. Yet sun was still clueless.

Moon had gone off to his house. He didn't want to play with Sun today. He was to tired ,and sad about his favorite cat Amber. His dog Star curled up with him on the couch. "I know, I know, I miss Amber too" sobbed Moon.

Sun had started to wonder what was going on with Moon and why he has been so down lately. Sun had made a plan to cheer up Moon by buying lots of his favorite food.

Sun couldn't wait to surprise Moon, so he called him and asked to meet at the park. The phone rang and rang but Sun got no reply. Sun was still so clueless!

Sun had to know what was going on with Moon. Moon is his best friend! Sun went from house to house asking what had happened with Moon. They all responded with "I don't know."

Hi Mars! Do you have any clue why Moon is so sad?

No? I haven't seen him in a few days

Sun had came upon Milky Way's house. Sun approached Milky Way and asked "Hi Milky Way! Do you know why Moon is acting so down?" . "Yes, I do! His cat Amber ran away from home and he can't find her. Sun had got an idea.

Sun gathered a group of people to go on a search for Moon's cat Amber. They gathered treats, her favorite toy, Amber's favorite foods, and all sorts of Amber's favorite things.

Sun and his crew were out in the rain looking for Amber. Then all of the sudden they heard a small meowing noise of in the distance. They all ran towards it hoping it was Amber, but when they got there it was just a stray black cat looking for a home.

Meow
