I am dedicating this story to my family. They inspired me to write this because it somewhat relates to my families story. I hope you enjoyed reading it.

There was once a man named Larry. He loved his wife and kids very much. They lived in South America, Peru to be specific. Larry always wanted to provide a life for his family that he never had. So he decided to go on a journey.

Larry decided to go on the bravest journey of his life. He decided to fly to America to establish a life for his family. He promised himself that one day he would fly them here. He said his goodbyes, showed his love, and went on his way.

Larry had one passion in life. This passion was to cook delicious food and to make people happy while eating it. He practiced and perfected cooking all his life and was ready to make a name for himself in America.

After his long 17 hour flight Larry had finally made it. He was in the melting pot of culture and cuisine and was excited to make a name for himself. Larry was in the beautiful city of Miami! He got a hotel for the night and was determined to find work by morning.

After his breakfast, Larry went out on the town to find work. After many hours and attempts, he finally met a guy named Mike who owned an Italian restaurant right on the water in Fort Lauderdale. He offered Larry a job and his mission had been completed!

After 3 months, Larry had worked his way up from a dishwasher to the general manager of the restaurant! Mike knew he had made the right decision and was proud of how far Larry had come. Larry almost had enough money to open up his own business now. He couldn't wait to see what life had in store next.
The opportunity had finally presented itself! Larry found a perfect spot for his very own restaurant. He had saved up enough money and was now about to become his own boss. He completed the deal and called his family with the good news.

Larry had booked his families plane tickets and was on the way to the airport to pick up his family. On the drive there he couldn't help but think about all the hard work and effort he had to put in, in order to get to where he is now. Larry was proud and he knew his family would be too.
