As Chloe was getting ready for bed she heard a loud "CRASH" , she turned around and saw a bright fairy in her window. The fairy had on a beautiful dress, as bright as a lemon. Her hair was as bright as could be. "Hello Chloe, I'm Susan Sustain." Chloe didn't know what to say, she was so confused on why a fairy was in her house. "Follow me on an adventure Chloe, we have some much to learn in a short amount of time," said Susan Sustain. "Okay fine but I must be back by 9:30 for bed time," says Chloe.

"Alright Chloe grab on, we are going on a very fun adventure."

"Wow what is this, it stinks bad out here ," says Chloe.  "This used to be  a beautiful forest where the fairies lived, until humans decided to stop recycling." "I am very sad, now it's filled with trash and wild animals , and the sky is filled with  this awful dark smoke." "You know how we can fix this Chloe?"  Chloe looked up at her with a look on her face. "How?" " We start recycling , anything that can be re-used , you need to re-use it." "All this mess can be cleaned up , if people care more about where their garbage goes."

The next morning Chloe was raving to her parents about her adventure. Her parents giggled , and expressed how they thought it  was just a fun dream. Chloe spent the morning explaining to them how they are throwing out things that can be recycled and reused. Chloe's mother was very proud of her and encouraged her to tell everyone in her class, and maybe get her teacher to explain it to others too. Chloe was so excited to spread the word, and hopefully get to see Susan Sustain again tonight.

That day Chloe went to class and told everyone in the class what sustainability was. Her friend Sarah said, "Why is this so important anyway, it doesn't even sound important." Chloe went on to explain how throwing away things that can be reused are bad for the environment. Her classmates agreed and by the end of the day they set up a recycle bin for the whole school.
