A person who never made a mistake,
never tried anything new!!
-Albert Einstein
Dedicated to all the J.N production fans out there !!!! We love you :)

“ Right everybody, listen up, we have another group project to do. Everybody go back to their desk and I will draw two names out of the hat ok?” said Mr Einstein.
Jason and Rory held their breath. “I hope we are together,” Jason quietly whispered. “Same,” Rory replied back.
As Mr Einstein pulled out the names, the two boys crossed their fingers hoping for the best.
“Rory you’ll be working with Jason.”
The two boys cheered in joy. “Hooray!”
“Settle down children," Mr Einstein growled. "All of you will present a project on a different aspects of science. There will be a chocolate prize for the winner. Since Rory and Jason are up front, you two have first choice, what would you guys like to study?”
“ What do you want to do Jason?”
“ I don’t know, you choose,” replied Jason.
“Umm”
“Hurry up boys,” Said Mr Einstein in a deep voice .
“ We will do energy please!” Jason quickly said.
“ Very well then, who's next?” replied Mr .
“ How on earth are we going to a project on energy?
I don’t even know what it is!” whined Rory.
“Energy is basically the ability to do work,” explained
Jason.“There is stored energy and kinetic energy,
Stored energy is the energy stored in objects like the
chemical energy in a apple or for instance the elastic
energy stored in a elastic hair tie."

"There is also Gravitational potential energy.”
“Now what on earth is gravitational Potential
energy?” Rory whined.
“Well, there is actually like ten types of energy.
Gravitational energy is the potential energy held
by an object because of it’s position or state. The
higher the object is the more gravitational
potential energy it.”
Jason demonstrates by lifting up his pen and then
dropping it. “When you are holding your pen in the
air, it has gravitational potential energy, when your
pen drops towards the ground, all its gravitational
energy is lost."

“ But where does all this energy come from, like
how is it made” Rory asked.
“ You can’t create or destroy energy,” laughed Jason. “Energy has always been on earth, ever since the beginning of time, however energy can be transformed into another form of energy or it can be transferred to another object.”
“So does everything on earth contain energy,” Rory asked.
“Well basically, yes, you could say that.” Jason replied.
“ So the light bulb on the ceiling contains energy?”
“Yes, the light bulb actually contains three types of energy, it
contains light energy, heat energy and electrical,” explained Jason.

“Huh? How?” Rory asked in confusion.
“ Well, it uses electrical energy to work and then produce light energy. As the light energy spreads across the room, the light bulb heats up and creates heat energy,” Jason responded.
“ Ok, but what is the science behind it ? I mean what exactly causes the light bulb to heat up?” Rory asked curiously.
“Dude, I’m not that much of a science geek,” Jason joked. “ How about we do that as our project?”
“Um, but didn’t you say there is like 10 types of energy? I would want to know all of them before we decided on what we want to do,” Rory told Jason politely.

“Of course, so earlier I told you about the two main types of energy right,” asked Jason.
“You mean the potential energy and kinetic energy?”
“ Yes, well potential energy is stored energy,” Jason explained again.
“ Like chemical energy in apples right?” commented Rory
“Right, chemical potential energy is the energy stored in
food, fuel or batteries,” Jason informed.
“ Ok, and you also mentioned elastic energy. What is that?” Rory asked.
“ So when you hear of elastic potential energy, what do you think of,” asked Jason.
“ Um, I think of things like hair ties or trampolines, stretchy things,” replied Rory.

“ Yes! Elastic energy is the stored energy in things like spring or rubber bands." Jason continued. “There is also gravitational potential energy, which I have already explained and the last one is nuclear energy,”
“Oohh, nuclear energy, is that like space energy or something?” Rory guessed.
“Haha, not quite,” Jason chuckled . “It is an energy stored in the center of atoms called the nucleus,” Jason pointed to a diagram that was on the wall.
“ It’s used to produce energy in things like atomic bombs,” Jason described.
“ Cool!” Rory said excitedly.
“ Yea, I know right!” Jason agreed.
“ What about kinetic energy? What’s that?” Rory asked.
“Kinetic energy is the energy moving objects have. There is also solar energy which...”
“ Space energy!” Rory interrupted.
