This is one of the most famous Catalan dish! and it is also one of the easiest! Just brush a garlic clove and a tomato on the bread, put some salt and some oil! enjoy!

Ukrainian cuisine
Ukrainian cuisine is closely linked to the customs, culture, and way of life of the Ukrainian people. It is famous for its diversity and flavours. Ukrainians like to eat good and tasty food cooked of fresh products. Fast food is not very popular here as Ukrainian women prefer cooking at home and many of them are real masters at cooking.
The most popular dish in Ukraine which every Ukrainian lady can cook is borsch (traditional Ukrainian soup). It is a really wonderful dish. It has up to 20 components. You can combine various ingredients and each time get different and very tasty dish. There is a proverb that says: “Each hostess has her borsch” as there are a lot of variants to cook it.

Traditional Ukrainian borsch
Ingredients
- Meat (beef or pork) – 1 kg;
- Potatoes – 500 g, cabbage – 300 g,
- carrots – 200 g; beetroot – 400 g,
- Onion – 200 g, garlic – 3 cloves;
- Tomato paste – 3 tbsp, salt, pepper, vegetable fat

Prepare the broth first. Put meat into the saucepan with 3-4 liters of water and boil it for 1 hour. Take meat out of the saucepan, cut it into pieces or dice and put them into the broth. Chop up onions, carrots, cut cabbage and beetroot into sticks. Take a frying-pan, add some vegetable fat and slightly fry beetroot, then add tomato paste and stew for 5-7 min. Take another frying-pan, add some vegetable fat and slightly fry onions for 2-3 min, add carrots and fry for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cut potatoes, put into boiling broth and season with salt. Add cabbage in a few min and boil for about 5 min. Add beetroot mixed with tomato paste and boil for another 10 min.Add onions, carrots, bay leaf, minced garlic, pepper and spices). Remove from heat, wait for 15-20 min and serve borsch.
How to serve borsch
Ukrainians usually eat borsch with rye bread and sour cream. Some of them also like cured pork fat salo and a bunch of green onion with borsch. You can choose any variant you like or just eat this tasty 'cabbage soup' without any adding.
Ukrainians adore to eat borsch with pampushky — small buns made of yeasted dough (often with garlic sauce).

ITALIAN TRADITIONAL CAKE : CASTAGNACCIO FROM TUSCANY
- Ingredients : chestnut flour 400 gr, zibibbo 100 gr, pinoli (pinenuts) 50gr, 1/2 liter water,
- walnut 50 gr, rosemary, 2 tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of salt,a bit of olive oil
Utensils:
a pot, an oven mould


Pour the chestnut flour into a big pot, add the sugar, a pinch of salt, half a liter of cold water and mix all together very well.
Then add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and zibibbo, melt everything and pour the mixture into a greased oven mould.
Add the walnuts, pinoli and rosemary and a bit of olive oil and put into the oven at 200° C for 30 minutes.


TUSCAN COCCOLI FROM ITALY
Ingredients for 6-8 people
25 gr of baking powder
½ glass of water
1 l of milk
1 kg of flour
2 l of oil
salt
Melt the baking powder in the water and mix with flour.
Let rise for four hours.
Cool the milk and dissolve the small ball, add salt and flour.
Fry the small balls, serve with salt.




TRADITIONAL TURKISH MEAL ''KAYSERİ MANTI''
(You will need your mother's help while doing this traditional meal!)
For the dough;
2 cups flour,1 egg, 1.5 cups warm water, ½ tsp salt
For filling the mantı:
½ kg ground beef,an onion,½ tsp black/red pepper


For the sause;
2 cups yoghurt,2 cloves of minced garlic
½ tsp salt, 2 tsp butteroil,1 tsp tomato paste
dried mint, dried red pepper
For cooking the mantı:
10 cups water,1tsp salt

After kneading,dough is rested for an hour. On the other hand, combine pieces of onions, ground beef, salt and pepper, mix the meat very well with a spoon .Divide the dough into little portions and add a little flour on a work surface. Then, roll the dough piece as thin as you can. Cut the rectangles with a knife.

Fill these little rectangles with meat in the center. And then pinch them together at the top. When all of the mantı dumplings are finished, put them in boiling water. And leave them 20 minutes. While they are boiling, prepare the sauce.Then drain well the mantı. Spoon the yoghurt sauce over the mantı and serve with the tomato paste sauce on it.

PIZZA MARGHERITA




Origins
Invented in Naples in honour of the first Queen of Italy, the Margherita pizza is the triumph of Italian cuisine in the world.

Ingredients
Per 6 servings
For pasta
2 lb Italian "00" flour or all-purpose flour -1 oz fresh yeast -2 cups water -1 teaspoon salt
For dressing
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 lb mozzarella cheese - basil leaves to taste - 1 lb canned tomatoes -s alt to taste



Preparation
Step 1 On a wooden or marble work surface, shape the flour into a well. Place the yeast, salt and warm water in the center. Be careful not to let the salt come in contact with the yeast.
Step 2 Knead the dough vigorously with your hands for 15-20 minutes, or in a mixer, until the dough is soft and smooth.
Step 3 Once you have the right consistency, adding a bit of water or flour if necessary, shape the dough into a ball. Cover with a plastic bowl so that the dough is protected from the air. Let rise for 3 or 4 hours at room temperature for about an hour in a warm place.

Step 4 Once the dough will be doubled in volume, ricavatene 6 loaves, modellateli in spherical shapes, cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and let them rise at room temperature for a couple of hours or in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
Step 5 As soon as the loaves have doubled in volume, prepare the tomato sauce and place it in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and 1/3 of the olive oil.

Step 6 Knead the dough, then flattening them using your fingers.
Step 7 Use a ladle or a spoon to spread a good amount of tomato sauce on the pizza. Then, cover with mozzarella, torn into pieces. Garnish with a couple leaves of basil and bake in a 480° F oven for 5 or 6 minutes.
Step 8 Once ready, remove the pizza from the oven. Garnish with more basil and a drizzle of oil. Serve immediately.
