"This is Officer Patrick Sullivan. I have the suspect in my sights and I am in pursuit. Over." "Do you need any back-up Officer? Over." "No, I got this. Over and Out."

I had the bank robbers in my sights when I felt my police cruiser being pulled up into the sky. I struggled mightlily but was unable to open the doors or windows. The car kept floating up higher and higher.

"Welcome Officer Sullivan. We're big fans of your work." "Who are you? And where are you taking me?" "All of your questions will be answered when we arrive on Xaubos. For now, kick back, relax and enjoy the view."

"Welcome to Xaubos, Officer Sullivan. Unfortunately it has become the most dangerous planet in the entire solar system. You are a highly decorated police officer and the only one who can save our planet from intergalactic crime."

"A black and white police car? What, no flying cars or spaceships?" "When this planet was created, we tried to model it after Earth. You'll find out more about us when your meet Sarge."

"What are those things up in the sky?" "They're drones, the eyes and ears of Xaubos's police force." "I still don't know why you brought me here." "Patience my friend. You'll find out soon enough. Follow me."

"Welcome Officer Sullivan. I know you're curious as to why you're here so allow me to explain. When the people of Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Venus decided to form a new planet, we needed a blueprint to follow. After observing  Earth for millions of years, we decided to try and replicate it here on Xaubos."

"In order to keep our new planet safe we 'borrowed' one of your fellow officers from Earth. Everything went well at first, until that one fateful day when our world was changed forever. The policeman let his power go to his head and soon turned to a life of crime. He's recruited some of the worst species from across the galaxy to work for him."

"That's where you come in. You'll be working with Officer Orbit to finally bring these bad guys to justice." "But why me?" There's nothing special about me." "We've had our eye on you for quite a while Sullivan. You've always been a strong, moral person as well as an excellent police officer. Be safe out there."

I didn't have time to fully appreciate  everything about this crazy planet. Out of the blue, I was dropped into an alien world, given a dangerous mission, and partnered with an odd-looking creature. I kinda wished I was taking part in a good old-fashioned car chase back on Earth.

"So, where's all of this crime that Sarge was talking about? Things look pretty peaceful to me." "You'll see" Officer Orbit replied. BOOM! One of those drones was shot down from the sky. "You were saying? Looks like we won't have to go searching for the criminals, I think they found us!"
