Definition: It's a program that is used to identify basic level skills of students as they do enter a 2 year institution.

Definition: It's where you are bound by a legal agreement to work for another person for a specific amount of time to get in return a trade, art, or business.

ASVAB:

Definition: It is a test developed and it's maintained by the United States Department of Defense.

Associate's Degree:

Definition: It's a degree where you get a 2 year college degree from either a community college, a university, a college or a technical school. The person that gets the Associate's degree then can transfer the credits to get a Bachelor's degree.

Bachelor's Degree

Definition: This degree is a 4 year college degree from either a college or a university by completing undergraduate coursework and then they are awarded in specific concentrations.

Career and Technical Education:

Definition: It's educational programs that specialize in skilled trades, applied sciences, modern technologies, and career preparation.

Certifications:

Definition: It's an official document that gives you proof and details of something such as your personal status, educational achievements, ownership, or authenticity.

Changing Economy:

Definition: It's an transformation that does occur in the economy that either increases, sustains, or depletes its vitality.

College:

Definition: It's a school that you may or may not go to after high school that offers a collection of degrees in one specific area.

Community College:

Definition: It's a post secondary school with up to 2-year programs that can lead to certificates, diplomas, or associate degrees.

Competency:

Definition: It's the quality or well qualified in a skill or ability.
