Fables as a literary expression of people's virtues and vices
There are a lot of fables in my country descending from the past featuring the lives of people at that time and society. In these short fable the animals that is people are personified, with their various characters and situations in which they are located. They are quite popular because of their educational content for children until today. Many of these stories are well-known around the world as people are represented by animals and their virtues and vices.
Thanks to the description of human defects indirectly through the behavior of the animals and the unpleasant truth the fables are usually expressed through the naive story, and a great artistic freedom is allowed.
Fables are written to teach people and make them better, but apart from their pedagogical purpose, they also have great artistic value, because they are characterized by freshness, humor, clearness and fairness.
My pupils are going to represent some of them in English in their authentic way, enjoy :)

"The lion and the fox" by Kaja Vasilevska 4g
The lion, living long, got weaker and old and he could not rule and tear other animals apart, with neither his speed nor his strength. So, while thinking, and considering his so poor situation and what will happen to him, he comes to conclusion that here on earth, what you cannot do by force and strength, it can be done by skill and cleverness. He played to be ill, entered his cave and he stretched himself. The word spread all over the place, that the strong and scary lion is almost done and his time has come to an end. Some people are easy to convince. Many animals, not wasting time, went visiting the lion, to see him down at last.

And the lion, grabbing them one at a time, made himself a feast. Last, the fox came and looking through the door asked: “How are you uncle?” – “Bad, my dear daughter, come closer to watch over me!”
“Sorry, uncle, no time, I have to go – I also wouldn’t like to, as I see too many traces towards you, and non in the opposite directions!”
The Moral
In this fable, many will learn a lesson. Malicious and unjust people, when ever cannot succeed by force, they succeed by intrigue, tricks and forgery.
The fox here gives us smart lesson, not to harry in our actions. It is hard to get to know the man, and the more sweet taking the more we need to be cautious, and better to look the traces around him, showing us who he is, how he acted and behaved before.
"THE FOX AND THE RAVEN" by Daniel Trencevska 4g
The Raven finds piece of meat and holds it in his beak, standing on one branch. The fox smells the meat, running under the tree and begins to praise the raven, saying: ,, Dear God, wonderful bird! What a beautiful feathers she has! If she only has that kind of voice, there will be no better bird in the world!
The raven was not so glad that the fox thinks that the best singer is a parrot, so he opens his beak and starts to boast with his voice. The meat fells down, the fox grabs and eats it, laughing and saying:,, Oh my raven, you have everything , except a mind!’’
Do not ask for praises before we deserve them, and when we deserve them, do not ask for them:if they are deserved, they will come by themselves. So protect yourselves from fox’s cunning s praises!

The Morale
If do not cheat ourselves, the others will never cheat on us, or, if someone tries he will not be able to do that and he will be embarrassed by himself.
"The dog and the wolf" by Sara Fidanovska 4b
One summer night, the dog was sleeping in front of the house. The wolf comes and he wants to eat the dog. But, the dog now says not to touch and eat it, because he is weak. And he starts telling him that tomorrow is going to have a wedding in the house and he will eat well and he going to get fat.
"Come after four days, at least you are going to have what to eat! – the dog told that to the wolf.
The wolf trusts him and he leaves. When the right time comes, the dog was not outside, so the wolf starts calling him over the fence, reminding him of the deal.
