CUT!!!

Hey, my name is Ted. I am a toad. Everyone says that toads are bad. They are just misunderstood. For example, last week I was elected to show for ''The Princess And The Frog''. When the princess saw me, she said, ''I'm not kissing THAT thing!'' Then the director said, ''CUT!!!'' That is one story of misunderstood toads. Everyone said that I am a toad, no frog. But... I am BETTER!

P.S I think the princess was afraid of getting warts?!?

But, some people still DO like toads. For example, one day I was sitting in my pond. Two kids dropped their wheely things just to play with me! They said something about, ''knife'' and ''kill''. What ever that is. Then, there was a cat that came up to me looking hungry. It thought I looked deliciously handsome! It went, ''Me-oww'' But, it more sounded like a hiss. Hey, it STILL loved me, though.

Sanctuary!!

We should put him in one Granny and Paps!

Then, there was a MEAN family. They said about putting me in a sanctuary! That means a thing where they slaughter you! I believe, anyway. So, I jumped out of the pond and I stuck my tongue out. Then I hopped away. Never saw them AGAIN. I made sure I stayed away from those people. There was not many that offered, though. Most of them said, butcher and fry. THAT was what I wanted to hear. That meant keep me safe, I believe anyway. SO... I stayed near THOSE people. Especially the cat, who had a crush. She tried leaning in for a kiss, with her claws. Then she put me in her mouth. I smiled and waved.

Then, the rain created a large puddle. The door on the house said, ''The Morrison's''. The Morrison's had a large puddle in their yard. I sat in it, as they walked outside. They said about keeping me safe. I agreed that they should. Then the dad fainted, the mom pinched herself, and the child giggled. I felt a bat hit me i n the head. The next thing I knew, I was on a table. ''Keep him here, Sally. We will get him a personalized pond since he is your pet.'' I liked the words the mother said to the child. I stayed close to the people who said the word safe when I was outside.
