To Taylor Morgan- who shines my day up

When I was 5, my mother was put in a wheel chair. She was a professional soccer player. Her name was Bailey. My mother was doing a back cross over. I had always wanted to play soccer, too. Until that day my mom came home with someone pushing her in a wheel chair. I cried, it was appropriate at the moment. My dog, Sunshine whined. It was like he was trying to tell me something. I just patted his head. But, if I would become a player, Sunshine would not leave my sight. Someone's ball would hit him. That would be bad, so I just did not become one anyway.

Then I got older. I was 8. I could not find a passion that I liked. I tried being a ballerina. Ballet was not my thing. I knocked over two girls, and the microphone. The next day when I was coming to practice, the officers stopped me. One said, ''You almost committed a crime!'' I looked confused. Then a lady said, ''Your ''dancing'' almost knocked over a legal resident! He almost died!'' I felt terrible. Sunshine sniffed the officers. I called for him to come. ''Sunshine lets go!I am terribly sorry, officers to bug you.'' We set off finding our passion.

Then, I tried out for choir. I will NEVER do that again. Did you know, you HAVE to sing?! Well, you do. I just stood there on the stage, trying to look happy. When the show was over, my mom took me home. She said that this was not my true passion. I agreed. Sunshine did too, because he barked in agreement. Then, he led us some where. ''Sunshine, wait up! Wait for me and mom boy!'' I called. Helping mom with her wheel chair, we rushed down the valley to Sunshine. I felt rain, and that made me speed up EVEN more. I saw what Sunshine wanted me to do...

He led me to the soccer field. I always carried a jersey in my bag. I had shorts on underneath the dress. So, I changed and took my bow out. I now knew my true passion, SOCCER! It was all along. I was just too scared to persue it. My mother, Bailey watched me happily. Sunshine KNEW this. When I took my break, I patted him on the four head. ''You are a good dog, Sunshine. How bout some ice cream after playing soccer boy?'' Sunshine wagged his tail, and stuck out his tongue. ''I love you Sunshine.'' He snuggled up to tell me, ''I LOVE YOU TOO, EMMA!''
