MARTIAN ATTACK!

"That movie was so awesome!" Dolly screamed. "I loved the part where the Martians blew up all those buildings. So cool!" Jeffy said as he pumped his fist. The friends had just seen "Martian Attack", a movie about Martians attacking Earth. They knew it was only a movie as that could never happen in real life.

"Where's your Mom Dolly? I thought she was going to pick us up after the movie?" "I don't know PJ. She should've been here by now. I'll try calling her. Hmmm, that's strange." "What?" "My phone isn't working." "Hey, do you guys notice how quiet it is? There's nobody around here at all" Jeffy nervously remarked.

"There's a police car. Let's ask the officer for help." "Look out!" Jeffy yelled as a laser beam from the sky blew up the police car right before their eyes. "What do we do now?" Dolly shrieked. "Run!" PJ yelled to his frightened friends.

The kids ran as fast and far as they could, stopping only to catch their breath. Overhead they could hear a faint humming noise. "What's going on PJ?" "I don't know but we have to stay calm." "Uh guys, look up. I think those are flying saucers" Jeffy interrupted. "Okay, now we can freak out!" PJ screamed.

"Hey look! Some fighter jets have arrived to take down the aliens." "What a relief. I'm so scared right now. I just want things to go back to normal" Dolly said. The three friends held onto one another as tight as possible while the fighter jets battled the spaceships. "We're going to be alright you guys. We need to stay cool and composed and everything will be fine."

"Oh no! The aliens' laser beams just shot down the fighter jets!" "Run for it! Those jets are going to crash!" The pilots were able to eject before their jets hit the ground and burst into flames. "Look! The aliens are landing their ships and getting out. We have to find a place to hide!" Jeffy shouted. "Quickly, everybody into the woods!" PJ ordered.

As the Martians began to exit their spaceships, the three friends ran into the woods and hid behind a large rock. "Be very quiet. Don't make a sound and maybe they won't see us" PJ whispered. RING! RING! "Oh no! It's my phone" Dolly cried out. "They're coming over here!" "Stop right there aliens!" shouted a police officer. "We're saved!" Jeffy excitedly cried out.
