"Jaden can you go outside to get the mail?" Jaden's mom said sweetly.
"No mama I don’t want to," Jaden retorted.
She gave him a harsh stare, so he walked outside reluctantly to the mailbox.
As he opened the mailbox, one lone letter fell out. "What's this?" Jaden said staring at the paper. The words on the letter said, "Dear Jaden, we have been tracking your progress in school and you are the perfect fit for our experiment in space!"
Filled with joy, Jaden ran inside to his mother. " Mama, Look!"
"What's this Jaden?" She asked.

"It's a letter about space!" Jaden squealed.
"Let me see that," Jaden's mom replied, snatching it out of his baby-like hands. She reads it.
"Can I go Mama, please?" Jaden begged.
"I don't see why not" Jaden's mom said, smiling.
Little did she know what was in store for her little boy.
Later that day Jaden packed up his bags for his adventure.
"Have fun Jaden, tell me all about it when you come home." Jaden's mom dropped him off at the space center and waved goodbye.
A man in a lab coat approached Jaden with a smile. "Are you Jaden?"
"Yes, I am."
"Great! Come with me. " The scientist said happily.
"I'm Professor Jack, nice to meet you Jaden."

The scientist took him to a warehouse, where a space ship awaited.
"This is the new ship you are going to test Jaden!"
"That's so cool! Can I go in it now?" Jaden said hopping around happily.
"Not quite yet, you have to go through training," Professor Jack firmly stated, "You will start training tomorrow."
"I can't wait!" Jaden exclaimed.
***
The next day Jaden was dropped off with his stuff and was ready to start training.
"Okay first thing first Jaden we have to learn about space."
"Yeah! I know everything about space and..." Professor Jack stopped him.
"Jaden there is so much that astronomers don't even know." Professor Jack said seriously.

"Let's start at black holes."
Jaden got comfortable.
"You can't actually see a black hole, you can only feel it's gravitational pull."
Jaden confused, asked, "I just get sucked in without warning? Not fair!"
Professor Jack chuckled, "We have technology that can sense the gravitational pull and can go away from it," Professor Jack continued "You will only get pulled if you pass the event horizon of the black hole."
"Whew! I thought I was a goner." Jaden relaxed.
"Well if you were to get into a black hole you will be spaghettified,"
"Like spaghetti?" Jaden giggled, "Stop playing."
"Also, times flies faster but you don't age you just see time go past you."Professor Jack continued "You will fall to the singularity of the black hole-which is the end-and after that we don't know what happens"

"Or once you enter the black hole, it can take you to a new dimension, a place, filled with cool aliens and space creatures or whatever you can imagine."
"Wow that's so cool! I want to go! Can I go?" Jaden exclaimed.
"We'll find that out after you're done with the training!" Professor suggested, "In two days we'll see if you're allowed to go."
Two days passed by.
Jaden ran into the main room with the space ship, with the scientists around a big conference table, holding his mom's hand. The scientists had a disappointed look on their face, but Jaden was as happy as could be.
"Welcome," the main scientist said. "We have some news to tell you Jaden, and it's not good."
Jaden's face fell, "What? Did I do something wrong?"
"No, we thought wrong... you're too young to go into space" He said.

"But what about Professor Jack? What does he say? What did I do wrong?" Jaden questioned with tears in his eyes.
"Listen Jaden!" As the scientist yelled something snapped in Jaden. He ran out of the room to the spaceship. As everyone was chasing him he programmed the panel for the spaceship jumped in and pressed the green button. The roof of the warehouse opened. Jaden looked down to see the scientist frantic and his mother crying frantically, but that didn't stop Jaden. In a matter of ten seconds Jaden was launched into the sky.
Jaden took off the seat belt after he left orbit.
Because there is no gravity in space, he floated out of the chair.
"Space is so big!" Jaden thought to himself
Gravity is what pulls you back down when you jump on earth, but it is not in space.
Jaden floated to the window and outside he saw a lot of stars
Suddenly he heard beeping from a control panel.
He saw that there was a hole in one of the rooms on the spaceship.
Luckily, the ship had special doors to lock the air into the control room
He pressed the button to seal the doors.
However, trouble wasn't gone yet.
Jaden heard another beeping sound.
He looked out the window and saw a big black patch in the middle of the patch of stars.
Jaden was able to see the black hole through the windows and he thought back to his little bit of training.
He thought, "I remember professor Jack telling me something about how if I went through the black hole I would be spaghettified."
