This is Rebecca. She is in her closet. Rebecca loves clothes. She collects shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses. She likes the colors black and white. However, she doesn't like the color green . She is almost 12 and she can't wait to see all the cool clothes she will be getting for her birthday.

This is Rebecca's bedroom. She can't wait to fill up her room with all her new clothes. Tomorrow is Rebecca's birthday. She is turning 12. She has already decorated her walls with posters and pictures. Her favorite picture is the one of her when she was a little girl. Rebecca even has a pool table and a stained glass lamp that her parents gave to her.

Today is Rebecca's birthday. She is 12!!!! She is going to her Grandmother's house for dinner and after dinner she will open up her presents!

Rebecca can't wait to see all the pretty clothes in her favorite colors. She had heard her mother leave the house to go shopping last night and Rebecca is sure it was to buy her some clothes. Rebecca's dog, whose name is Hugely, follows her into her grandmother's house.

It is time to open presents. Rebecca's Mom stands next to her Grandma, and Rebecca's best friends Lauren and Suzy are there too. Rebecca's cousin, Gabe ,stands next to Lauren. The table is filled with presents. It has so many that it is hard for Rebecca to even see over the table. Just as Rebecca reaches for the first present her mom yells out for her to stop. " What's wrong Mom?" Rebecca asked. " Well I just thought Hugely should be here too." They looked and looked for Hugely in the big room but he was no where to be seen.

Rebecca looked everywhere in the house but she didn't see Hugely. When she called his name he didn't even come. Rebecca sat down on the couch and cried she didn't even want her new clothes anymore she just wanted her puppy. Her cousin Gabe came into the room to comfort her . He told her that Hugely would come back soon and that we needed to open my presents. So Rebecca followed Gabe out of the room.

It was time to leave her grandmother's house. Rebecca didn't want to leave without Hugely but her mother said that if Grandma saw him then we can come get him. Rebecca watched her mother say goodbye to her grandma. She wondered if Hugely had said goodbye to her.
