Once upon a time...there was a princess named, Elizabeth. But everybody in the kingdom called her, Princess Nobody. Just because of how she acted. In my opinion I think she is quite beautiful!

One morning she woke up to go to school, (which was a special school just for princesses) and found a note at the bottom of the door in her overly sized bedroom.

“What could this be?” she said.

She opened the note and found it was a beauty pageant invitation!

“This is perfect! I can finally show people that I am not just nobody!”

She went running to her closet and got ready for school. It was the fastest she had ever gotten ready, because she was so excited for the pageant. She then went into the bathroom and had her maid, or as Elizabeth called her, best friend, do her hair. Her name was Ally. She was very pretty as well.

“Guess what?” Elizabeth asked Ally.

“What?” replied Ally, while pulling Elizabeth’s hair into a slick bun.

“When I woke up, I found a beauty pageant invitation by my door. See,” Elizabeth showed her the letter.

“Wow! That’s great!” Ally said, skimming the letter.

“I know! I can finally show people that I am not just nobody!”

“Yes, but two things. First of all, you are not just nobody because you are my best friend, and I would say that’s somebody. And second, do you really think that your mother and father are really going to let you enter this contest? I mean no disrespect but...”

“I am your best friend too! And I already thought about that. If my mother and father really love me, then they would let me go to the pageant.”

But by the the Elizabeth said this, Ally was already out of the room. Elizabeth hopped off her chair and went to the main lobby to get her backpack and school stuff.

Did I do all of my homework. Elizabeth thought to herself. Yes! I did!

“Elizabeth, come on you are 5 minutes late now!” Ally called from the garage.

“Elizabeth, come on you are 5 minutes late now!” Ally called from the garage.

“Okay, coming,” Elizabeth replied.

“Hurry though!”

“Okay.”

Just as Elizabeth was about to zip up her backpack, she stuffed the pageant letter into front pocket of her hot pink backpack. Then sprinted right out the door into the car.

As they were driving Ally and Elizabeth talked a little.

“So, what took you so long?” Ally asked.

“Oh, nothing. Just making sure I did my homework and stuff. I mean we did have a lot of homework last night,” Elizabeth replied.

“Oh, okay,” Ally said sarcastically.

“So I was thinking.”

“Yes?”

“If my mother and father do not let me attend the pageant, maybe you could take me? What do you think?”

“ARE YOU KIDDING!” Ally yelled.

“Well I was being serious,” Elizabeth said confused.

Elizabeth didn’t know why Ally was acting like this.

“I COULD LOSE MY JOB!”

“Oh...”

“It’s okay I kind of overreacted anyway. It’s just this is the only job I have and it means the world to me.”

“Yeah. I wouldn’t want you to lose your job anyway. It was a bad idea and so let’s just forget about the pageant,” Elizabeth sighed.

“I agree. It wasn’t the best idea...but if you really want to enter the pageant, then go for it!”

“You really think that I will not embarrass myself even more?” Elizabeth said, glad to see that her best friend really believed in her.

“Oh heavens no! You are beautiful and amazing.”

They pulled into the school parking lot.

“Well, thanks,” Elizabeth said.

“For what?”

“For helping me realize that I can do anything.”

“Oh, that was nothing. I will pick you up at three, okay?”

“Okay, thanks.”

And with that Elizabeth hopped out of the car and hurried into school.

7 Hours later........

Elizabeth came running to the car as fast as she could in tears. She jumped in the car and slammed the door. Before Ally could ask her what was wrong, Elizabeth said,

“I don’t want to talk, so don’t ask me what’s wrong.”

“Okay..”

The whole ride home was completely silent, until they pulled into the driveway.

“So, can at least ask if you have any homework. Because if you do then you have to get right to it, because we are going to a beauty pageant tomorrow!”

Now this got Elizabeth to talk.

“Wait What! When? Where? How? Huh?”

She had so many questions that they all came out in one blob!

“hdhjkhfsjnbsdhkh!!!!”

“Okay, okay slow down. Before we talk about that, tell me why you were so sad when I picked you up,” Ally said.

“Okay, so throughout the whole day, all of the girls in my class were making fun of me because I got invited to the pageant. That’s all. Okay, now tell me about what you were talking about!”

“Hold on, hold on. So the girls were being mean to you basically?”

They kept on talking as they got out of the car and walked inside.

“Yes. Pretty much. Why?”

“Elizabeth, listen, all that means is that they are jealous and probably didn’t get invited into the pageant,” she said.

“Oh, I guess that would make sense. Now please tell what you were talking about,” Elizabeth said excitedly.

“Okay, okay. So while you were at school, I told your mother and father about the pageant.”

“YOU DID WHAT!”

They walked upstairs together to continue their exiting conversation.

“It’s okay. They said they would take you to the pageant!”

“Really? Are you making this up so that I am happy?”

“No Elizabeth. Do you really think I would do something like that?”

They went into Elizabeth's huge bedroom.

“So this is all real?”

“Of course it is all real! Now what do you say that we go shopping for the perfect pink dress?!”

“OMG! I think that’s a great idea!”

“Let’s go back in the car then, except this time we will take the limo!”

“Oooo, that’s a great idea too!”

“Okay then, you change out of your school clothes and I will let your parents know that we are going shopping. We will meet in the limo when we are done. Okay?”

“Sounds good to me!”

“Alright, see ya in the limo,” Ally said, walking out of Elizabeth’s room.

Elizabeth waited for Ally to completely leave the room before changing. She put on a very pretty purple dress.

Then she went into her closest and got out a pair of white high tops.

Meanwhile, Ally was waiting in the limo for Elizabeth. She had already asked The King and Queen or Elizabeth’s mother and father if they could go shopping. They said yes, and gave Ally $200 to spend at the shop.

Elizabeth said goodbye to her mom and dad and also grabbed $50 off of her nightstand.

Elizabeth said goodbye to her mother and father, then hopped in the limo and they drove all the way to Elizabeth's favorite shop. The TGS Shop.

They got out and locked the limo, then walked inside. Immediately Elizabeth fell in love with a dress. it was pink and pretty much in indescribable.
