Dedicated to my Brovas

There once was a snake who lived in the woods of England. His name was Henry and he was a very nice snake. On the morning of April 8th, he was slithering through the woods looking for food when something caught his eye. It was a golden crown hanging from a tree branch. As he was reaching to grab it, a small group of knights came riding on their horses.
"Do not touch that crown!" screamed one of the knights. But Henry touched it and he started to turn to gold. When he put it on, he shined bright. The guards then took him to their kingdom. Henry wasn't so sure what was going on.

They were all now at the kingdom, and King John of England asked Henry for his crown. "May I keep this crown for a little longer, maybe a week?" asked henry, but he was denied. The King was furious because the snake questioned him. "Do not ask me for you to keep my crown you delinquent!" shouted King John. The King then sentenced Henry to public execution.
Henry was terrified and was not ready to die yet. On his journey to the kingdom he saw the wonderful nature of the woods he had never seen before. He liked the sight of it, but did not like the thought of walking to the kingdom. And now that he is here with the death sentence, he is so frightened.
As the knights and guards were readying Henry for his execution, an incident occurred. The snake accidentally bit all the guards and the King, turning them into frozen statues. Henry looked around and saw all of the public staring at him. They all looked scared. He realized they now looked at him as a monster.
He did not mean to bite them. it was just his instinct to do so because he was scared. But, he did realize it was his chance to escape. He took off slithering down the crystal road to his home. On his way home he encountered a tall, bearded man with a cape named Alexander.

"Have you seen a shining and golden crown?" Alexander asked. "Yes, it's right here," replied Henry. Alexander gave him a look of fear and anger. He told the snake that it was a magical crown, and that it should not be fiddled with. Henry knew he did something wrong.
Alexander then took Henry to his cave where all the magic happened. It was a dark cave built with stone. Henry was impressed with the design and structure of the wizard man's home. The wizard then asked Henry for the crown. It was time to fix the problem.
