This is dedicated to Charles, may you always have strength to slay the Dragon.

Once upon a time there was a prince who lived in a castle far away.
The prince had two parents who were both fierce warriors, and taught him to face what scared him.

One day the kingdom was under attack, from a terrible dragon.
The king and queen confronted the dragon, they injured it enough to cause it to flee, but did not return to the prince.

The prince was devastated. The prince was looked after by a wizard, who was an adviser to his parents.
He didn’t ever want to leave his room, for he was now afraid of anything and everything.

Wizard came and asked the prince why he stayed locked in his room. He told the prince that he would have to take after the kingdom someday.
The prince said that he was afraid and that there were too many things out there to hurt him. There are snakes, tigers, and worse of all, dragons.

“But young Prince don’t you know, facing the things you are scared of makes you stronger.”said the wizard. The prince didn’t believe the wizard and hid under his bed, were it was safe.
The wizard knew that the prince was going to have to learn to face his fears in order to lead the kingdom. So he devised a plan to send the prince on an adventure.

The Wizard told the prince about a stone that would grant him invincibility. But this stone was far away and guarded by monsters. But the prince would do whatever he could to not suffer the fate of his parents.
So the prince set off towards the dark forest. It dark and foggy when came to a windy river. The only way to cross was a bridge.

The prince was on his way across the bridge. When suddenly, something slivered up from beneath the bridge. It was a giant snake.
The prince wished he was back home in his bed were it was safe. The snake lunges and tried to bite the prince. But the prince jumped out of the way.

The prince new if he didn’t do something he would surely be eaten. So, he picked up a rock and threw it as hard as he could at the snakes head.
The rock hit the snake in its head and knocked it out. The snake fell and lay dead in front of the prince.

The prince saw something shiny in the snakes mouth. He approached the snake and pulled the object out. It was a curved sword, with a snake surrounding the handle.
The prince now had a sword and felt a little bit braver. So he journeyed onward. He was now deep in the most beautiful jungle, when out of the brush he heard a noise.
