It was the morning of the robot building contest at Milky Way Public School. Astro Alien jumped out of bed and thought, “I can hardly wait to get to school and begin working on my robot! It is going to be the best robot ever!” Astro hurried to finish packing all of his gear. He had been collecting recycled materials for weeks! His favourite piece was an old microchip from his Great Grandpa Stargate’s computer.

Astro ran to his bus stop just as the Moonbus was pulling up. He hopped on and found a seat next to his best friend Milly. Milly said, “Hey Astro! Look at the cool old computer mouse I found in our spacement. My robot is going to be awesome!” The Moonbus pulled up to the school. Milly and Astro met up with their other friends, Abby and Bumpawhomp. They all talked excitedly about the contest.
