What Is A Horse/Pony?

A A horse/pony is a mammal that survive in herds. The difference between a horse and a pony is the size a horse/pony is measured by hands, an adult's hand is measured 10cm high. A pony is under 14.2hh(hands high) a horse must be 14.2hh(hands high) so, a pony is smaller than a horse.

Are you Ready For A Pony?

Just because you want a pony doesn't mean you're ready for one before you and your parents (and their bank account)take the plunge.

Buying A Pony List

1 You have had regular lessons for at least one year.

2 You can comfortably walk, trot, canter and ideally jump small jumps.

3 You have mastered leading, tucking/untacking and able to catch a pony.

4 You have learnt the parts of the bridle, saddle and horse.

5 You have responsibility of a small pet.

6 No matter how hungry or thirsty you are take care of the pony first.

7 Never ever get angry or yell at your pony or other animal
