Little Miss Navybean loved to dance.
She danced and danced until one thought she could dance no
more.
She danced so much you would have thought there were
ants in her pants.
Her mother and father could not understand how she never
tired and dropped to the floor.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was often quite the chore.
Mother had to make sure she left plenty of dancing space all along the
floor.
Most of her school day she spent dancing away,
But that’s ok, she was so smart and never let her academics stray.
And what about nap time? Oh no, not she.
Little Navybean was much too old, after all she was already three!

Navybean had the life, oh yes!
She was the life of the toddler party and always tried her best.
But older sister Jazzy saw through her sissy’s tricks.
She knew better, she’d been there, but now she was six.
It didn’t take much for a toddler to look cute,
And all the adults would laugh with a kick and a hoot.
Jazzy by now was just not that impressed,
And all that dancing Navybean did put her in distress.
For Jazzy was a bookworm who loved and lived in her library nook.
She read the quiet mystery, fun adventure ,and exciting book.

One day while Navybean was dancing away,
She danced right into the door jam and that was the end of
her play.
She cried out in pain and grabbed hold of her feet,
Jazzy was to the rescue, she did not skip a beat.
The doctor said Navybean broke her little toe,
But not to worry, she would soon be back on the go.

Poor Navybean she could dance no more,
But not for long, soon she’d be dancing on another dance floor.
Jazzy soon realized that she love her sister so dear,
That she thought of a plan that would put Navybean back in gear.
Jazzy worked night and day to ensure Navybean could play,
In two days’ time she was ready for the reveal.
Navybean was so excited; she didn’t know what to say,
Jazzy had made dancers for Navybean made out of clay.
