To all the readers
who read this book.

As we walked down the street, in the direction of the garden Gethsemane, I wondered where Jesus was going anyway.

When we came to the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus asked eight of my comrades (the disciples) to wait while he took Me (Peter), James, and John deeper into the garden.

When we came to the place where Jesus wanted to pray, He said to us, "Stay here and pray for me because its a sad night for me."
Jesus went a few feet away and prayed earnestly.

When Jesus came back to us, he found us sleeping, woke us up, and said, "Please, pray for me, please."
He left again and after praying a little while, he came back and found us sleeping again. He woke us up, so that we can pray for him, but we were too tired.

And the third time Jesus went back, and after praying awhile, he came back to wake us up for the final time and said, "Wake up! It's time. The one who will betray me is coming!"

Just then a mob charged into the garden, with swords, spears, and torches.
Jesus asked, "Who are you looking for?"
They said, "Jesus of Nazareth!"

Jesus replied, "Well, look no more, here am I." Judas the betrayer went to Jesus and kissed him to signal the soldiers to arrest him.
Just then I pulled out my sword and madly started slashing, and cut off the ear of a servant.
Jesus then gently touched the ear of the servant and healed it.

Jesus told me, "Put away your sword; those who use a sword will die with a sword.

Just then the soldiers grabbed him, and we saw that he was giving himself up, so we ran for our lives.
I watched from the distance, and they took Jesus to Jerusalem, where he walked a few days earlier, triumphantly.

I slowly followed him from a distance, into the city of Jerusalem. They all went to the palace courtyard.
There the servants built a fire, and one of them said
to me, "This man was with Jesus." I replied, "I don't know what you're talking about."
A few minutes later the same thing happened. A man said, "You are one of Jesus' disciples" I replied, "I'm not I swear to God!"

Then once again someone said to me, "You were with Jesus from Nazareth!" "NO! I was not," I retorted angrily.
Just then the rooster crowed the last time, and Jesus turned around, looked at me sadly and went farther.
I went out into the street and cried bitterly. I didn't see Jesus until the resurrection.

But later the others told me what happened: They told me that Jesus was taken to Pontius Pilate, and he found Jesus not guilty. Pilate found out that Jesus was from Galilee and sent him to Herod Antipas.
Herod did not want to condemn Jesus. He demanded that Jesus show him a miracle, but Jesus, as usually, just ignored him, and Herod seeing that, gave Jesus his purple cloak to mock him.
He then sent him back to Pilate.
