Dedicated to Mrs. Zonnefeld and Mrs. Walhof for helping me and teaching me how to be able to do all of this!

It was an early summer day, the third day of summer actually, when it happened.
EARLIER
"I can't believe that your mom let me go with you to visit your family here, in Oklahoma! I've never been to Oklahoma." Avalon told Lexus. She smiled while she said this. She also loves to tease Lexus, but he doesn't appreciate it. She is usually always ready to do things like this and have fun. However, she was extremely excited about all they were going to do.
"Yeah, I'm happy you came with us, it'll hopefully be lots of fun." Lexus replied with a hint of worry in his voice but mostly because he is always a little nervous. But he still enjoys to do stuff with Avalon, even though she is the exact opposite. "I don't know, but I feel like something is going to happen."
Avalon was thinking it too, which was weird because she is never really nervous. She didn't know what to say to this, so she just nodded her head. Lexus was completely sure now, but they needed to pass the time until later, when they were going to go swimming with the rest of his family.

Swimming!
"We need something to do, so what would you want to do? Avalon asked. "It looks like it might rain, but I don't mind doing stuff in the rain."
"Er . . . Well, we could go on a bike ride I guess, but we should make sure that we bring a phone or something if anything goes wrong."
"Sure."
"I'll go get my pho- never mind it's in my pocket."

Lexus nodded his head in agreement with Avalon. He was feeling a little anxious about all this, but it was his idea so they were on their way.

Uhhhhhhh . . .
"So, are you excited for later?" Avalon asked him.
He just nodded. He thought swimming was fine, he gave it no more thought.
"Are you excited school is over?"
"Are you serious . . ." Avalon really did wonder if he was serious, because he knew her better than anyone and was asking that question. She replied "Of course!"
Lexus mumbled, "Sorry, sorry." He knew she was, but he was too embarrassed to say that he just wanted to get his mind off of the thing.

They kept biking for a while, debating on which roads to go down and deciding on what path to go down in the end. It was all fine until they heard a loud . . . BANG! Everything felt like it was shaking, and then they noticed that the wind started to accelerate way to fast. They tried to get out the phone for someone to come pick them up, but it wasn't there.
"It must have fallen out," Lexus admitted "Now we don't know how to get home."

The wind started making loud noises and was swaying from side to side making them feel even more scared. They looked around, but didn't notice anything. There wasn't a single thing in sight. They thought to get away from the bikes and go in a ditch or some sort of lower ground place. But there wasn’t one anywhere in sight. They had no other choice, Lexus and Avalon didn't know much about tornadoes, but they new they needed to get somewhere. So they ran. They kept running and running. There was no way to communicate, the wind refused to let them open their mouths.
