Princess Flower Picks a Pet
Princess Flower was a smart, clever little girl who lived in a beautiful castle with her father, The King, and her mother, The Queen. She loved wearing dresses. She wore a different color dress every day of the week! She also enjoyed getting into silly adventures.
It was a Monday morning and Summer had just begun. Princess Flower was looking to make a new friend. She didn’t want just any friend though. Princess Flower wanted a furry pal to play with, snuggle with, and to take on her adventures. She set out to choose the perfect playmate.
A dolphin was the first animal she picked. The dolphin was a really fun animal, but it was too wet and slippery to be her playmate. Next, she played with a monkey. The monkey made her giggle! He was very hard to play with because he kept taking her crown for himself. He also threw bananas everywhere. Monkeys are too messy to be good playmates.
After she cleaned up the monkey mess, Princess Flower tried to play with a giraffe. It was way too tall. He couldn’t hear anything she said because his ears were so high in the air. Giraffes do not make good playmates. The princess decided that maybe a dragon would be a good companion. She found a short, pink dragon and began to play with it. She and the dragon were having so much fun! Then, the dragon burped and almost caught her dress on fire. Dragons do not make good playmates.

Princess Flower needed to find the right animal to be her friend. She sat down under a tree in the castle courtyard to think. While she was thinking, leaves kept falling on her head from above. She looked up to see what was causing the leaves to drop on her. Princess Flower saw a cute, cuddly, grey koala sitting in the branches eating leaves. She climbed up the tree and began to play with the koala. They had lots of fun together play games in the tree. Princess Flower knew she had found her new playmate. She asked the koala is he wanted to be her new friend. The Koala nodded “Yes” and the princess cheered with delight.
When it was time for bed, Princess Flower didn't have any leaves. She used a pillow to make a small bed for the koala at the bottom on her own princess bed. The princess crawled into bed. The koala snuggled her next to her feet. They both fell asleep dreaming of all the fun they would have as best friends!

Princess Flower, Kawali Koala, and the Tin Can Robot
It was a Tuesday afternoon. Princess Flower was wearing a yellow dress and Kawali Koala was wearing a matching yellow bow tie. The princess decided she wanted to go exploring. She asked Kawali Koala if he wanted to take a walk in the forest. The little grey koala nodded “yes” and off they went. When they got to the forest, they found a path near the start of the trees to follow.
The two friends had only been walking for a few minutes when they heard a noise coming the bushes. Princess Flower looked at Kawali. "Do you know what the sound is, Kawali?" the princess asked. Kawali looked back at her and shrugged his shoulders. Princess Flower took a few steps off the path into the forest to see if she could find out what was making the noise. Its seemed to be coming a thicker patch of dark green bushes. It was getting louder.

As Princess Flower got closer to the sound, it sounded like a cry for help. Someone or something was in trouble. The princess dashed over to the bushes with Kawali Koala right behind her. She and her friend began to pull back all the branches, leaves and twigs until they found what was making such a fuss. There, in the bushes, was a robot. The robot was silver made entirely out of tin cans! And he was stuck!
Princess Flower and Kawali Koala grabbed the robot by its metal legs. They pulled with all their might and the robot popped free! After he dusted himself off, the tin can robot turned to the two friends.
“Thank you for helping me! " the robot shouted. "While I was walking through the forest, I slipped and tumbled down into the bushes. I’ve been stuck for days!”

The robot hugged the Princess and her koala. "I better be on my way." he said. "But first I want to give you something to say thank you!" The robot reached high up into the trees and pulled down some special leaves. "These leaves will make a perfect bed for your koala!" he exclaimed!
Both the Princess and Kawali Koala were sleepy from a long day. The made the long walk back to the castle. As soon as they got home, the friends crawled into bed the royal bed. Kawali Koala snuggled up next to the Princess and both fell fast asleep.
Princess Flower, Kawali Koala, and the Pudding Puppies
The princess woke up on Wednesday morning with a sweet tooth. She really wanted something delicious to eat. She asked Kawali Koala if he wanted a yummy treat from the kitchen. The koala jumped up and down with excitement. Off to the royal kitchen they went.
Once they got to the kitchen, Princess Flower had trouble deciding what she wanted to eat. The pantry was filled with cookies, cakes, sweets and other sugary choices. The snacks looked delightful! As she looked at all the options, she spotted a pack of chocolate pudding. The princess and her koala loved chocolate pudding.
“We’ll make this Kawali. It will be perfect!” the princess exclaimed. She grabbed the pudding mix, sugar, milk, and a big mixing bowl and she set them on the counter. The friends began mixing all the ingredients together.

Kawali Koala climbed on top of the refrigerator to help the princess put the ingredients back in the cupboard. The furry koala was too busy to notice that he accidentally knocked over a bottle on the top of the fridge. The liquid spilled into the pudding mix. The two friends didn’t notice the mistake and put the pudding in the refrigerator to cool. Let’s go outside to play while we wait for our pudding!
When they came back inside an hour later, Princess Flower could tell something was wrong. The refrigerator was shaking back and forth! Before she could ask what was going on, she heard a barking noise coming from inside the refrigerator. Then another. And another! The princess opened the door and couldn’t believe her eyes. Instead of a bowl of delicious chocolate pudding, she discovered twelve puppies! The puppies looked strange though. They didn’t have fur because they were made out of pudding! They were pudding puppies!
The puppies came bouncing out of the fridge and began to run all over the kitchen. They were leaving pudding puppy paw prints everywhere! Things were quickly getting out of hand. At that moment Wizard William, the royal magician, walked into the kitchen and was surrounded by wet, sloppy, pudding puppies.
The wizard looked around at the mess in the kitchen. He saw his potion bottle dripping down the side of the fridge and quickly figured out what had happened. His magic potion had caused the the pudding to make puppies! Princess Flower and Kawali Koala explained that it was an accident. The wizard wasn’t mad. He just needed to figure out what to do with these crazy puppies. He had an idea. He waved his magic wand and said:
“Wiggity Miggity Tiggity Peal,
Turn these pudding puppies real!”

With that, all twelve of the puppies became real dogs. The royal messenger sent word to the town that the castle had twelve puppies that needed a home. Several families from the town ran to the castle to adopt a puppy! By the end of the day, all the puppies had a home. Princess Flower and Kawali Koala cleaned up the mess they had made. They were so tired from the day’s activities! When they climbed into bed and snuggled up together a few minute later, they both fell fast sleep.

Princess Flower, Kawali Koala, and the Forever Slide
On Thursday morning, the sun was shining bright in the sky. Princess Flower was wearing her blue dress and eating her lunch. She was eating her favorite food: honey pizza. Honey pizza is like regular pizza, only it instead of sauce and cheese, it just has honey. The princess and her best friend, Kawali Koala would eat honey pizza for every meal if the King and Queen would let them.
Wizard William came down from the tower as they were finishing up with their lunch. “Princess Flower!” he said happily. “Just the person I was looking for! I’ve been working on some new magic spells and I was hoping you and Kawali could help me test them out. What do you say?”
Princess Flower didn’t even have to ask her koala. He was jumping up and down with a huge smile on his face. She already knew his answer. “We’re in! What do you want us to do?” she asked the wise wizard. “Follow me.” Wizard William replied and he began walking toward the royal basement.
The basement of the castle was lined wall to wall with magic doors. The great wizard created imaginary worlds behind each one of them. One door near the back of the room lead to a world made entirely out of candy. Another door could be opened to see a cold, snow covered ice mountain. The princess wondered what door they would unlock today. As she looked as all of the possibilities, Wizard William pulled a key from his robe and opened a yellow door near the middle.
When the door opened, Princess Flower saw a huge yellow slide. It was the biggest, longest slide she had ever seen. It was so long and had so many twists and turns that she couldn't even see where it ended. Wizard William said "Slides are lots of fun, but when you get to the end, you have to climb the steps and start over. So, I made a slide that never ends. I call it the Forever Slide!
