Cheetahs are very fast animals who has a way of getting its food. It will stalk its prey and it will approach the prey in a down position so that the prey won't be able to smell them. When the cheetah gets close to the prey it uses its speed to get its prey.

Cheetah's eat gazelles, wildebeests, impalas, rabbits, antelopes, hares, and warthogs.
Nutrition

Cheetahs have a closed circulatory system. It flows through the lungs and heart.

Cheetahs have lungs to help with the exchange of O2 and Co2.
Respiration

Cheetah's structure are all about adaptations. Cheetahs have claws to catch its prey. Cheetahs use their tail to help control their body and make turns. Cheetahs also have a pad on the front of their feet in order to make them stop when they are going at high speeds.

Cheetahs have ways of protecting themselves. Cheetahs have dark spots that can help them camouflage. They also have their speed.

Movement
Cheetahs have muscular legs that help them move with long strides. They have the tail which helps them make turns at high speeds. Their claws also help them turn at high speeds.

Osmotic Regulation and Excretion
The lungs maintain the homeostasis of amount of water and fluids in the cheetah. For their excretory system, the cheetahs have kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra.


Temperature Regulation
When the cheetah is too hot, the cheetah will stop running even if it is trying to catch its prey.

Reproduction
Cheetahs do sexual reproduction. Males are ready to reproduce at one year old while the female has to be two years old.

Development
The cheetah is born having the spots and he eyes don't open until two months after birth. The cheetah is able to walk four months after birth. The cheetah will start eating its own food six months after birth. The mother leaves them after eighteen months and the siblings form a group and after two years they split. After that, they will hunt and mate for the rest of their lives.
