This book - once a school project, now a tribute to all my English teachers who have given me the opportunity to learn the wonder of words.

In a forest full of colorful chameleons a chameleon was born. This was not unusual as chameleons were born all the time in this forest.

However, the chameleon that was born was unusual, very unusual in fact.
All the other chameleons were bright and beautiful. They could be whatever color they wanted to be, whenever they wanted to be.
They were always playing and having fun. However, nobody wanted to be friends with a chameleon that couldn't change colors.

Hiss, hiss!
But worst of all, he was always alone because of his lack of friends. This made him more vulnerable to predators. Just now he has encountered a hungry snake that says to him, "I will devour you unless you bring me 3 bird eggs by dawn tomorrow. If you don't, I will find you and eat you alive. Anyway, you might as well be eaten because nobody wants an ugly green chameleon around!"

And so the chameleon searched wearily in the night for a bird's nest.
As he searched he felt more blue than green. He knew stealing eggs was wrong, but if he didn't he could lose his life. And so he continued his search for the eggs, a thousand thoughts and feelings racing through his head at the same time. He never knew the forest to be so scary and wished he was home in bed the whole time.

At last he found a nest with exactly 3 eggs inside, but these were like no eggs he had seen before. They were ginormous in size. As he traveled closer to the eggs he wondered how he would carry them. However, that worry disappeared as fast as it was placed in his head. He now was jolted with a shock of fear as he saw a massive eagle in the left corner of the sky, far away but racing through the sky towards him. He looked around to find something green to camouflage in but found only brown. He once again envied the other color-changing chameleons. If he could change colors he could turn brown to camouflage, and he wouldn't have gotten into this mess in the first place.

As the eagle flew closer Constantine scurried down the tree to take cover in the closest plants he could find, but he knew the eagle's eye had spotted him.

In a matter of seconds the eagle flew down beside him and asked him what he was doing by his nest. Constantine explained every detail while trembling in fear. After Constantine explained it all, the eagle shook his head disappointingly and said, "Stealing is not right under any circumstances, especially eggs that my live baby chicks will hatch from. I could tear you to pieces with my deadly claws for attempting to do such a thing. But I will spare you because that would be just as wrong on my part."
Then Constantine says to the eagle, "You are so kind and I am ever in debt to you, but what shall I do about the horrid snake that will inevitably eat me when I return?" The eagle then replies, "It is also not right to threaten someone like that snake did to you. Because of this I shall go and teach him a lesson. Hop onto my back and I will take you back home."
