I would like to dedicate this book to Buddha and Ms. Pomplon :)

One night, a girl named Callie decided to watch Netflix and go on social media instead of studying for the math test she had the next day. Callie knew that the test was first period and she would not be able to study all of the content beforehand, but she still didn't study because she didn't feel like it.
Right Understanding- understanding the cause of suffering...
A couple days later, when Callie saw that she got an F on the test and could no longer be exempt from the final semester exam, she was so sad and angry that she left school early, went to her room, and cried. While Callie was lying on her bed, she realized that the cause of her suffering was her own laziness and procrastination.
Right Thought- clearing your mind of all bad thoughts.
While Callie was laying in her bed thinking about the actions that caused her suffering, she thought about how angry her parents would be at the grade, so she thought about changing the grade on the test to a B+. However, after thinking about it, she realized her deceitful thoughts were wrong, so she decided to go to her favorite beach to clear her head.

Right Speech- not saying hateful things about others.
As Callie sat on the beach and thought about the situation, she got less angry at herself and more angry at her teacher. She started thinking about how mad she was that he scheduled a test on the last day of school, knowing she would have no motivation and end up failing. She was so angry and she called him all types of names. However, she had to realize that the names she was calling him were rude and uncalled for because it wasn't the teacher's fault that she failed. It was only her fault because she chose not to study.

Right Conduct- not engaging in any misconduct.
After Callie left the beach, she decided to tell the truth and show her parents the grade she got on the test. She figured that this was the right thing to do instead of trying to change the grade. Although her parents were upset with her, she knew she did the right thing.
