It was the summer of 1189 in a medieval kingdom on the out skirts of the woods. On any normal day you can hear the constant sound of the market people selling their goods to the villagers, and the sound of clicking horse hooves and cart wheels going down the cobble stone streets. But this was no normal day. Today was the princes coronation! Today the streets were packed with clicking hooves and sellers yelling.
"Fresh corn! Get your fresh corn here!"
"I'v got fine silk! Get your silk!"
People were hustling and bustling all over the
town to watch Prince John's coronation

Everyone was thrilled for Prince John's coronation because he was a very nice prince and had good intentions for the kingdom.
A few months have past and the kingdom was doing very well, but the king came across a realization. He began to realize the power he had, he realized that he had a whole kingdom right in the palm of his hand.
King John became greedy and began to tax the villagers more and more. The people became poor and hungry.

A bit over a year has passed and the people are left with virtually nothing. The streets once lined with bustling villagers going about their daily lives were now lined with sad and poor beggars, desperate for even the slightest bit of food or money.
Some of the villagers started taking matters in to their own hands. They started protests which turned into riots. Buildings were being smashed and burned to the ground. King John, unsure how to settle the riots, noticed that there was one man who was always up front leading the protests and speaking out against him.
King John, sure that he could settle his problems

once and for all, decided to teach the villagers a lesson by banishing the man. He considered an execution, but decided against it. Executions were usually for witches and wizards, and besides, that would be too bloody. John didn't like blood.
The next day in the afternoon for the banishing, the whole town gathered in front of the castle gate.
King John stepped before the crowed, dressed in a long red velvet coat trimmed with white fur and a white fur cape fastened with a enormous green emerald, despite the summer heat. He was dripping from head to toe in rubies, and had a gold crown

laced with purple gems resting perfectly on the top of his head. He had deep blue eyes that resembled the night sky, they had no twinkle in them, no sign of mercy. His face was stern looking, but yet blank and emotionless, like a man who had once shown love, kindness, and forgiveness, but had lost it in his riches.
He stood before the man and the villagers on a gray gloomy day, with a negative energy running through the crowd.
He spoke out in a deep bellowing voice, "This man has caused corruption in the villages." he paused for
effect. "But there shall be no more. I here by banish this man from the villages. No one is to feed, house,or show any affection for this man." Then he turned to face the man "now go!"
The man, with no more than the cloths on his back turned and walked into John woods, witch King John named after him self.
"Now let this be a lesson to all" he said dragging his finger across the crowd.
"Any one who decides to speak up against me will suffer the same fate as that man", his voice boomed.
He dismissed the people and went back to his
castle, sweeping his cape dramatically behind him.
The next day when King John woke up he naturally yelled out for his servant, wondering why he wasn't there. The sun shown brightly in his eyes
He moaned and sat up "who opened the curtains?"
he called out opening his eyes. He let out gasp of terror and scrambled to his feet. He looked around at his surroundings. He was in the middle of John woods. He let out a terrified scream, but
then stopped, his voice sounded different.

He reached up to touch his face, it felt rough, and dirty, nothing like his smooth soft face he was used to. Frantically running his hands over and over his face he let out another scream. He looked down and saw that he was wearing a brown cloak with a rather impressive amount of holes in it. His breathing picked up pace as he began to panic more and more. He also smelt a rather fowl smell. He walked around in a circle sniffing the air, but then realizing it was following him he scrunched up his face realizing it was him.

He leaned up against a tree trying to get his head around what was happening when he heard a rustle in a near by bush. He straightened himself up and his eyes looked around wildly. The bush rustled again. He stared at the bush and put his shaking hands in to fists and positioned himself in a fighting stance. He stood there for a few seconds when a rabbit hopped out. He jumped back letting out a high pitched scream. He let out a deep sigh and leaned back against the tree, sliding down at the foot of it to think.

He took a deep breath and stood up deciding that he needed to find his way out of the forest. He knew that moss grew on the north side of trees so began examining the nearest tree. confirming which way was north he began to head in the direction of the castle.
By the time the sun was setting he reached a clearing and saw houses and heard the sound of children playing. Feeling as if a bag of bricks have been lifted he ran out into the clearing and ran towards the nearest house.

As he approached the sound of children playing stopped and mothers rushed out to shelter their children. He continued toward the house , wondering why the village was suddenly so quiet. He wondered if it was who he was, he didn't feel or sound like himself.
When he reached the front door of the house he was heading for, he knocked. The door opened and a young man, mid 20's maybe, cracked open the door just enough to poke his head out.
"Are you going to let me in or not?" King John snapped, forgetting for a moment that he was on longer the King.

The young man looked taken aback by Johns rudeness
"I'm sorry?" the man asked
"I mean, can you let me in... please" John responded
The man opened up the door a little wider and looked around the village before letting him in.
"Only for a second" the man said
When John was inside he turned to the man and asked "do you have a mirror?"
The man, looking rather confused pointed to a door.
John, shaking with fear, dreading to find out what
