Lubart's Castle

Lutsk Castle, also locally known as Lubart's Castle or Upper Castle, began its life in the mid-14th century as the fortified seat of Gedimina's son Liubartas (Lubart), the last ruler of united Galicia-Volhynia. It is the most prominent landmark of Lutsk, Ukraine and as such appears on the 200 hryvnia bill.

Okonski Sources are found in the lake Oknyshche and belong to one of the major natural attractions of Volyn Region. The level of water in the lake is constant, it is never overflowed because it is connected with the river Okinka, as well as with several ponds, where the valuable fish, called trout, are bred.

Shatskyi National Natural Park

Shatskyi National Natural Park is a park in Ukraine which was established in 1983 and aimed to preserve, reconstitute and to use effectively Volyn Polissia natural complexes and objects of special environmental, recreational, educational and aesthetic value. The park is located on the territory of Shatsk District in the north-western part of Volyn Region. The general area of the park is 490 square kilometres.

Lake Svitiaz

Svitiaz is the deepest lake in Ukraine, with a maximum depth of 58.4 m. It is the second largest in the country. Svitiaz belongs to groups of Shatsk's lakes, which are located in Polissia (Volyn Region) in the north-western corner of Ukraine, close to the borders with Poland and Belarus.
