Jake and Steve were playing with their friends. Suddenly their dad came in and told them that they were going to a surprise place this afternoon. "Get ready, we are leaving in four hours." It was 11:00. Jake asked "Where??" "Not telling!! Oh, and Steve you're not aloud to skateboard!" said their dad. Their dad left the room. "Okay, I'll stop skateboarding!" Steve said "We better start getting ready!" "Okay!" replied Jake. They packed sunscreen, towels, snacks, and lots of other things. They wanted to be prepared for anything!!!!

Meanwhile at Nicki's house...

Krissi was playing with her dolls that she got for her birthday. While Nicki was relaxing and reading her favorite book. "Girls, we are going to go somewhere special, so get packing!!" said the girl's mom. The girls didn't question their mom, so they started packing like they were going to the beach and park. "Where do you think we are going?" asked Krissi. "I don't know!!" replied Nicki. "But let's start packing!!"

"You did't pack that fast, did you?!" the boy's dad asked. "Yes we did, dad!!" the boys answered. The boys had already dragged the humongous and heavy bags down the stairs. "I'll take them to the car and you can play!" their dad said. The boys had just got a pool a week ago. It was a perfect day to get wet!! "Lets change into our other swim shorts!" Jake suggested. Steve agreed. They changed and for the next few hours, swam!!

As for the girls....

"MOM!!!! We finished packing, can we play outside please?" Nicki asked. "Bring it to the car, and then yes." their mother replied. The girls brought their surprisingly heavy bags to the car. "Let's swim in the pool!!" suggested Krissi. Nicki loved that idea and ran to the pool. They did flips, played games, and just swam in their OUTSTANDING pool!!
