THE EIN-YAHAV DAM

The Ein-Yahav Dam was built in 1975. Its purpose is to catch the floods' waters that come from Nekarot river and thus prevent the farmers' fields from flooding. The water in the dam infiltrate into the ground to enrich the local deep aquifer.

The Fun part- 

When there is a big flood, the dam fills with water, and for a few months there is a real LAKE in Ein-Yahav! A fun place for kids to play and swim, a great picnic site and a peaceful romantic spot for couples.

Wadi Zofar

Wadi Zofar is a wadi that passes below Zuqim in the south of the Arava. When the floods get to the wadi

it is beautiful and it's great to travel there with your family. Wadi Zofar connects to Wadi Ashosh.

In Wadi Zofar you may find- Deers, snakes, scorpions, wolves , jackals and more...

As you can see, wadi Zofar is full of life.

The Festival takes place in Zuqim, once a year. The movies in the festival change annually. The festival started in 2011. It is very popular In The Arava, and many people come and enjoy the movies.

The Yogurteria in Ein Yahav has the best Yogurt in the area ! Many tourists come from many places in Israel and abroad. The children from Ein Yahav love to go there to talk and especially to eat, both in the summer and in the winter. The place is beautifully decorated and inviting!!! They also have hot chocolate, coffee, tea, cookies and more. We love the Yogurt! Come to taste and enjoy!
