Once upon a time, there lived a good wolf that was usually seen in the heart of the woods. He was such a gentle, loving wolf that was always kind to others. everyone wanted to be friends with him.

One day, when walking through the woods in search of some food and water, Mr. Wolf encountered a little girl who was dressed in all red. He was very excited to welcome her into the woods, and quickly approached her.

He was so curious that he asked the little girl in red, "Where are you going"? She responded by saying that she was going to her Grandfather's house, which was on the other side of the woods, and across the river.

"My Grandfather is very lonely out there all by himself, and I wanted to surprise him with his favorite snack--cookies and milk. So I better be getting on my way Mr. Wolf, it was nice meeting you", and off she went galloping down the dirt road.

The wolf thought to himself how unsafe and scary it must feel to be walking in the woods and crossing the river alone. The more and more he thought about it, he thought it would be a good idea to follow and join the little girl.

The little girl was pretty far ahead, so the wolf quickly tried to catch up with her. The little girl suddenly stopped and asked, "Why are you following me Mr. Wolf?" Mr. Wolf responds by saying, "I just want to be your friend and make sure you arrive at your Grandfather's safely".

The little girl in red said, "Well Mr. Wolf, my name is Little Red Riding Hood, and I would love if you came to my Grandfather's house with me." Mr. Wolf hugged her in excitement and they continued on their journey through the woods.

Once they arrived to Little Red Riding Hood's Grandfather's house, Mr. Wolf refused to go inside. Although he was very friendly to the little girl, his biggest fear was being around adults. "What if Grandfather doesn't want me around them", thought Mr. Wolf.
