Chapter One: What Is A Doctor

In this chapter you will read about all the things it takes to be a doctor and what a doctor does. A Doctor is someone who helps you get better. They can do anything from giving you a checkup to performing surgery. They use their medical knowledge to diagnose patients. Without doctors there would be no cure to sicknesses.

Typically, a doctor needs to go to medical school for four years. They also need 3-7 years of training before they are eligible to get a degree. A doctor is also called a physician.You must go to medical school to be a doctor. Doctors can prescribe you medicine to cure your sickness.

Chapter One-What Is A Doctor

Doctors can prescribe you medicine to cure your sickness.The doctor will give you instructions on how and when to take your medicine. You have to follow these directions or the medicine will not work the way it is supposed to.

The United States. They could give you a checkup or help the doctor with their treatment. They are there to make your visit go as planned.
