To the littlest kids.

This is Andrew and Katie. They are going on an adventure to the Kingdom of the Brain today.

King Brain was set on showing Andrew and Katie everything inside Brain Castle. The King decided to first show them the biggest parts of the Castle first.

King Brain brought Andrew and Katie into the first part of the castle to show them his Grandfather, Cerebral Cortex. Cerebral Cortex was the wisest of all the brains in Brain Kingdom. He kept all the big rooms in his brain.

The first room in Cerebral Cortex was the Frontal Lobe. This room helped Grandfather to speak, move, and make good decisions.

The next room in Cerebral Cortex is the Temporal Lobe. In this room Grandfather is able to hear anything and everything.

Next King Brain took them in Grandpa Cerebral Cortex's Parietal Lobe. In this room Grandpa could use his sense of touch.

Then Andrew and Katie went to Cerebral Cortex's Occipital Lobe. In this room, Grandpa could see everything and anything he wanted to.

Hi Brain!
Hi Body!
Then King Brain took them to a different room that was very loud because everyone was talking. He told Andrew and Katie this is the Thalamus and Brain Stem, and they help the brain and body talk to each other.
Hi Right Hemisphere!
Hi Left Hemisphere!
The next room was also very loud, but this time King Brain said this was the two halves of the brain talking to each other. King Brain called it the Corpus Callosum.

King Brain then took them to a room filled with heart and lungs. Andrew and Katie were able to breathe so well in here, and their heart beats were perfect. King Brain called this room the Medulla.

King Brain then took Andrew and Katie to room full of balance beams and tightropes. They were able to walk on all them completely balanced without falling off. King Brain said the Cerebellum helped them balance on the beams and ropes.
