For Isaiah Malik Olatunde, my favorite Big Brother Superhero
With Love,
Tee Tee

"Aahhh, Saturday. My favorite day of the week!",
said 10 year old Josiah Miles as he eased out of bed.
"I get to stay up late, there's sleepovers and most importantly...there's tacos!", Josiah thought to
himself as he stretched. Josiah's thoughts about
what he wanted to do that day with his best friend
Gerald were suddenly interrupted by the voice
of his mother from outside his bedroom door.
"Good morning Josiah, my dear. It's Saturday morning!
Time to head to the grocery store so get your
shower and lets go!"

Josiah took his shower, put on some fresh clothes
and headed towards the living room. His mom,
dad and one year old brother James were standing near
the door. "Good morning" said Josiah as he
tied his shoelaces. "Good morning, son" Josiah's
dad said. "I'm going to stay in to finish up my
report for work. You be awesome as usual and
help your mom out with James and the groceries."
"Yes, sir. Will do." said Josiah.

Josiah helped tuck James securely in his car seat.
James held his favorite teddy bear Baba in his arms
and smiled contently. He always enjoyed car rides
and Saturday morning rides with mom and big
brother Josiah were always a delight. They sang
different fun songs as they made their way to
the store. It didn't take long before mom pulled
into the parking lot and parked. Once inside the
store, mom placed James in the shopping cart.
Josiah walked next to her as they made their way
through the aisles.

"I know you and Gerald would love to have tacos for dinner
tonight, so grab some taco seasoning from aisle two" said
mom as she looked through her list and headed towards the
baking section."Yes, ma'am. You know tacos are me and
Gerald's favorite and you make the best!" Josiah said.
"Actually Gerald and I have a taco fan club, mom. I'm the
president, Gerald's the vice president and when James
is big enough, he will be the secretary!",Josiah exclaimed.
Josiah's mom smiled and shook her head. "You boys never fail
to amuse me", she said as she giggled.

After locating the taco seasoning, Josiah helped his mom
gather the rest of the items on her list. Mom paid for the groceries and packed them into the trunk of the car as
Josiah secured James in his car seat once more. Not long
after mom pulled out of the parking lot, James began to
squirm and then let out a deafening cry. "Aww, James.
What is it little bro?" said Josiah. Josiah grabbed James'
pacifier and attempted to place it in his mouth, but James swatted it away. Josiah then looked for Baba but soon realized Baba was not there. "Mom, Baba's missing!" said Josiah. "Oh, boy" sighed mom. Well we have to pick up Gerald now but I will look for him once we get settled in at home."

The ride to Gerald's house was not the most pleasant as James cried nonstop. Josiah felt really bad that James' best friend was no where to be found. Josiah, his mom and James soon pulled up to Gerald's house. Gerald was waiting eagerly outside of the house beside his mom, Mrs. Martinez. Josiah and his mom waved to Mrs. Martinez as Gerald happily hopped into the car. As they rode off, Gerald and Josiah attempted to calm James but nothing seemed to work. Once they arrived back to Josiah's house, Gerald and Josiah helped Josiah's mom bring bags of groceries to the kitchen and then headed to Josiah's room.

"So are you ready to be demolished in a game of Road Raptors?", teased Gerald. "Not so fast, Gerald. James lost his favorite teddy bear and I have to find it otherwise none of us will have a good day. Trust me." said Josiah. "Well, you're good at finding things. Why don't you check out your detective book to see if there are any
good ideas to help find a lost teddy bear", Gerald suggested.
"Brilliant idea!" said Josiah. "Detective Findall will most
definitely have the answer to our mystery."

Josiah picked up his handy book by Detective Hugh
Findall titled 'Everyone's Guide To Finding It All'. As he finished reading the part about the fact that some mysteries can be solved from the most easiest and obvious questions, Josiah overheard his mom ask his dad if he would go to the grocery store to pick up lettuce. She had forgotten to add that to the list to make tacos. "Perfect!" Josiah exclaimed. "We should join my dad so that we can retrace the trail of Baba". Gerald agreed and soon Josiah and Gerald were in the back seat of the car thinking of the places they might find Baba.
