Charley 5 Years Old

Today I'm going to big school! Mummy said I do Maths, whatever that is. Bella is coming too. I am going to learn how to write my full name! I can only do my first name. My teacher, who looks after me and helps me learn (Mummy told me this) is called Mrs Smith. She is nice. I can't wait to go!

Charley 6 Years Old

I'm getting a little brother! Mummy and Daddy told me yesterday. He comes in 5 months. I wonder if he will catch a bus or maybe he will fly! Oooh! I wanted him to be a girl, but maybe he will still play ponies with me. Mummy said he would be called Daniel or Jake but I like Polly. Dad said it was a girl name, so we couldn't name him that but I think it is good.

Charley 7 Years Old

My baby brother came! He is called Daniel. I asked how babies get here but Mum said 'When you're older'. Who knows what that means. He is cute but too young to play. He is a bit boring, all he does is eat, poop, cry the sleep and all over again. Dad says when he is older he will play.

Charley 8 Years Old

I am going to be a zoo keeper! We went to the zoo for an excursion and got to be zoo keepers for a day. I want to look after the zebras because they are like ponies. Daniel is 1 and is starting to walk. He can't stay up long though. Bella and I are having a sleepover. Mummy finally let us. Bella says you have a midnight feast. I hope we have one!

Charley 9 Years Old

Bella and I have a new friend in our group. She is called Luna. She moved from Queensland and now she lives on a farm with a horse! He is called Rebel! She said we can go to her house and meet him tomorrow!

Charley 10 Years Old

I'm in Year 4 now. Daniel is starting school this year. I said it is a little scary but he has me. Luna's mum said she will teach me how to ride Rebel. He is a sweetie pie. Every time I visit he nuzzles against me. So cute. Dad has a new job, he used to work at the bakery but now he is putting his computer skills to use and is an engineer. He says its better than working in a bakery. I don't want to be a zoo keeper anymore. I want to be a professional equestrian.

Charley 11 Years Old

There's this boy called Jamie at my school. Aaaaaand I think I like him. Whenever I talk to him I blush. He's so nice. Bella says I should ask him to the end of school dance but I'm too shy to do that. I entered my first horse competition. Luna's mum took me a Luna to the competition. We both entered. I won the show jumping in my age! Rebel got heaps of apples after that. I can't stop thinking of Jamie....
