Fred was petrified! He had never been so afraid in his life! He was standing in front of a sleeping lion and he couldn't move, his brain was telling his body to get the heck out of there, but his legs wouldn't budge. CRACK! a branch had fallen from one of the trees where a monkey was eating his lunch, Fred has always hated monkeys! The lion awoke from its peaceful sleep and now had its eyes fixed on little, innocent Freddy the lion inched closer as if sneakily hunting a little rabbit, the lion readied its body to pounce on its prey. Fred closed his eyes and braced for impact!

GASP! Fred awoke dripping in sweat and couldn't believe what had just happened in his dreams. Fred stood up and began to do his morning routine to get ready for school where he would have to face another day with the school bully, Cooper. He would always hate having to go to school as long as Cooper went to Cool Creek Elementary.

Fred always hated getting picked on by the bigger kids, since Fred was always shy and small he couldn't do much about bigger kids like Cooper.

Cool Creek Elementary

Fred waited as usual for his bus with the other kids from his neighborhood, while he waited he liked to imagine he was an explorer, exploring the jungles of the Amazon rain forest, before he knew it the bus with Cool Creek Elementary plastered on its side showed up and kids started loading up on to the bus.

The first class Fred had was Science, Fred loved science, his favorite part about it was learning about plants and flowers. "Class, today we will be learning about flowers and how they spread." said Mr. Smith, Mr. Smith was Fred's science teacher. Unfortunately, Cooper was in this class with Fred. And Cooper always made it hard to learn for Fred because he was always calling him names like Flower-Boy, but Fred tried extra hard to pay attention to Mr. Smith because he wanted to learn as much as he could because it would help him get to Ivy Grove College which was where he would study and learn how to be a excellent Botonist. But today Fred was extra annoyed because Cooper had picked a flower that Fred was analyzing and put it in his hair and called him a girl!
