Prologue

The young fairy had traveled far. Panting and wiping her sweat covered forehead as she carried on. Her eagerness to reach to kingdom of Ballsolonia had tuned out the voice in her head urging for her to turn back. But she had been waiting to long for this and as some people say, revenge is a dish best served cold.

Chapter 1

The New Arrival

Princess Susanna winced in pain. She had given herself a paper cut. As a princess even a tiny cut is a tragic emergency Soon she had a whole medical team swarming her say things like

"Oh it's going to be okay Princess Susanna."

And

"Don't worry Princess Susanna it won't hurt for long."

Susanna had no idea why they were being so concerned. Sure they were always a bit crazy when it came to getting ill or a cut but this is a whole new level of crazy. Lucky for Susanna her teacher Ms. Bella had just arrived.

"Girls it is your job to tend to Susanna's wounds not create a

kingdom wide panic. Susanna your mother wants me to tell you that you baby sister has arrived! You will be attending to announcement of your baby sister's birth. Your prep team is waiting in your chambers. You are dismissed from class."

Susanna scurried to her quarters to get ready. So many thoughts were running through her head like "what is her name" and "when will I get to meet her."

Princess Susanna of Ballsolonia is the most sweet and perfect girl you would most likely ever meet in your life. Her prep team prides her on looking perfect too. With her strait brown hair and uniform hazel eyes, she does it almost effortlessly. Her mother, Queen Lisa prides herself in

keeping Susanna in pink only even though her favorite color is red. Pink party dress, pink school uniform, you name it and she has it! On the way to her bedroom in the castle people kept on bombarding her with questions and comments like,

"Are you excited to meet the baby Susanna?"

and

"You are going to be a great big sister Susanna!"

If Susanna was being honest, she would say she is not excited to be a big sister, but it could be fun.

Once she had gotten dressed and made her way to the chapel a sinking feeling appeared in her stomach. She hated appearing in front of the whole kingdom and would have rather just missed out on the event.

When Susanna got to the chapel she realized she was late!

She ran to her mother's side and mouthed "I'm sorry" to her. Susanna's mother gave her a look that could kill and then

carried on with the ceremony.

In Ballsolonia, it was traditional for fairies to come from the Fairy Forest for the kingdom's introduction to the new royal. The fairies were kind beings whose soul purpose was to help others. The fairies went up to Susanna's little sister (whose name is Blythe) and introduced her to the world. Everyone was cheering and smiling until a chill went through the room. A fairy dressed in black walked into the room. Her eyes were colder than ice and her mouth was wearing a smirk.

"Well did you miss me?"

Chapter 2

A Sinister Visitor

The fairy laughed at the kingdoms shocked faces.

"Since you clearly don't know who I am, let me introduce myself. I am Abhaya, A former fairy, currently though I am an enchantress. Why I am here, you ask. I am here to get revenge. You see I was once a fairy who was in love with a prince. The prince and the fairy went everywhere together for they were best friends. But soon the prince fell in love with a peasant girl. The fairy begged him to run away with her but he was in love with the peasant. The final time she asked him to run away with her the prince said 'I will never run away with you for I am in love with another. You Abhaya, will only love me making you cold and obsessive. Go away and find someone who will

love you for who you truly are.' As you can imagine I was heartbroken and in a state of confusion. How could someone I loved so much not love me back? The prince got married to the peasant and had two daughters, one of them I am going to curse today. Lets see little Blythe. Your name actually means happiness but that won't work out for you today. The start of wit..."

"Enough!" King Christopher yelled. "Don't touch her!"

"Well..." Abhaya said "...I guess I will just have to touch Susanna. The darkness inside me, channel this curse, before my voice goes hoarse. The princess will sleep for eternity for there is no alternity. This curse will last till the end of time. Susanna has five days until she falls asleep never to wake up."

Abhaya disappeared and Susanna collapsed to the ground.

Chapter 3

The Quest Begins

Susanna felt weak in the knees. The entire kingdom was in shock. The King and Queen looked like someone had just stabbed them. Susanna did not even feel like comforting her parents or the kingdom. She burst into tears and ran into the library. Soon after the librarian Mr Roberts came in and found Susanna crying in a fatal position.

"Miss Susanna, you must put your self together! Crying like that will not do you any good! You need to find a way to save yourself." Mr Roberts said.

"But how do you even know there is a cure for this?" Susanna cried.

"I don't... but you could find out. Go to the Fairy Forest and talk to the Fairy Emperess. She could tell you if there is a cure. If there isn't then you can just go home. There is no harm in trying." Mr Roberts noted.

"I do suppose you are right. But what about my parents? They will not let me out of the castle with me cursed like this! What should I do?

"I hear you are a strong swimmer. There is a river flowing through the court yard. If you swim through the river you will go under the castle wall and reach land. Good luck, I really hope you take my advice.". With those last words Mr Roberts whisked off into the library.

Susanna did not know what to do. She knew how heartbroken her parents would be when they discovered she

was missing but she knew how happy they would be once they found her alive. So she grabbed her survival kit which had water, food, a knife and other items. Then put on clothes she would not mind getting dirty.

Susanna strutted to the river, trying to be confident to hide how scared she was. While nobody was looking, she jumped and started swimming like her life depended on it (It sort of did). Susanna loved swimming. The cold feeling of water against her face was amazing and felt heavenly. After around twenty minutes of swimming Susanna was out of the castle. The quest begins.

Chapter 4

The Fairy Forest

The Fairy Forest was close to the castle so it only took about an hour for Susanna to get there. The Fairy Forest was more beautiful than you could ever imagine. The buildings were made of pure gold and the grass was so green it would make you dizzy. The trees were multicolored and the leaves where sparkled with glitter. The fairies were looking at Susanna like she was an alien. Humans never really go into the fairy forest because fairies (although they love helping humans) did not trust them.

Susanna walked into the Empress's palace and was in awe of everything there. Every single thing was so shiny and perfect that it seemed inhuman (Which it was).

"I sense fear in you Miss Susanna. You afraid of falling asleep and never waking up. If may I ask, is that why you are here?" the Fairy Empress said.

A very surprised Susanna said "Yes Ms Fairy Empress. A fairy named Abhaya cursed me. Is there anyway you can help me?"

"First of all you can call me Ella, and second of all yes there is. There is a potion that you can make to cure you of falling asleep for eternity. Here are the ingredients,

Gift From Fairy

Toenail of Toad

Spring Water from Clearest Spring

Gold Coin From Ultimate Vault

Here is the Gift From Fairy. Just pour the fairy dust into the potion when ready. You can do this Miss Susanna. I must leave you now. Stay safe Miss Susanna."

After Ella left, Susanna felt much better knowing there is a cure and was ready to finish her quest. with that Susanna left the Fairy Forest.

Chapter 5

A Very Odd Encounter

Susanna was running. The Clearest Spring was in between the kingdoms Garrettland and The Barrow. She had no idea where she was going to get the 'toenail of toad' but figured she would come across a toad at some point. Susanna was exhausted. She had been running all day and made it through half of Garrettland, so she stopped to rest.

After a while she heard rustling in leaves nearby. Susanna grabbed her knife and inched over to the leaves. Then an elf and an eog popped out. An elf is not something you would think an elf would be. Elves are not Santa's helpers but are regular people with pointy ears and a really long lifespan.
