El Greco

Doménikos Theotokópoulos was a sculptor and architect of the Spanish Renaissance. He is most widely known with the nickname, El Greco ("The Greek"). In 1570 he moved to Rome, where he trained and became a master within that tradition before traveling at the age of 26 to Venice. His work influenced Pablo Picasso and many of his paintings are in the biggest museums of the word.
