Billy is a blue whale that lives in the ocean. He prefers to live in deep waters and doesn't care whether or not the water is cold or warm. He loves to swim in the waters and eat krill. Billy is having a hard time right now, he is now considered an endangered species. His everyday life is filled with challenges that he has to over come and many things that he does.

Billy swims around the ocean in search of his friends. He finds them tangled up in a net that was left in the ocean by fisherman. They are tangled badly and stuck. Billy doesn't know what to do, and knows he can't free his friends by himself. He calls a school of fish over to help him free his friends and untangle the net. Billy is worried because 650,000 animals are caught up in fishing nets ever year and many of them get injured or die. He doesn't want that to happen to his friends so he works fast to get them out.

As Billy and the school of fish work together to get his friends out a big boat goes by. This boat is filled with trash and it is going lightning fast. This boat speeds by just as they get Billys friends out of the net. The ship goes by and leaves a big trail of trash behind. There is so much trash it looks like its raining it. Billy, his friends, and the school of fish see it coming and start to hurry to get away. They swim as fast as they can to the nearest cave to take cover from the raining trash.

Billy and his friends have made it safely in a cave before they got hit with garbage. Inside the cave they run into Carrie the clam She is the oceans oldest living clam. She has been alive for 507 years, she knows the ocean better than everyone. Carrie was also inside of the cave because she too saw the garbage and wanted to get away from it. As they wait out the garbage rain Carrie tells them a story from when she was younger.

They gather around in the cave as Carrie tells the story from when she was younger about her and her friends. He friends unlike her were sea turtles and they loved to swim around and have fun. Her very best friends was Sara the sea turtle. Along with Sara she had 2 brothers Sam and Simon. They hung out everyday out in the waters near the surface even though Carries mom told her it was dangerous, they still played there. Everyday they went up to their favorite spot where they could see the sun and swim in the light.

"Guys I'm so excited for today we are going to have so much fun" said Carrie. They are up at their favorite spot for another day of fun adventures just when Simon was about to say something a boat comes flying towards them as fast as a rocket. "Look out you guys" yells Carrie to Sara, Simon, and Sam. Sara throws Carrie off her back just as the boat comes by and scoops up a sea of fish and her three turtle friends. "NOOOOO" cries Carrie as her friends are swept away. Carrie sinks to the bottom of the ocean and goes as fast as she can back home

Carrie bursts into her house yelling for her mom. "MOOOMM MOOOMM, where are you mom!" her mom comes running from the kitchen. "Carrie are you alright where are your friends you normally play all day" Carrie is going hysterical, she can barley slow down her words as she tells her mom what has happened and how to get her friends back. Her mom tells her to calm down as she rushes to get to the sea turtles house. When they get their they go searching all over for the sea turtles triplets. They even tell everyone to look out for them and go searching for months to try and find them.

"And non of us ever saw them again" said Carrie. Even with how much they looked they never found the 3 sea turtle triplets. They did find out that it was a commercial fisherman boat and that they were going around catching fish and they didn't mean to catch some turtles. The boats might have let the turtles go but they never know and Carrie was devastated for the rest of her life. 250,000 turtles are caught each year by fisherman that are trying to catch fish and many of the times the turtles get really hurt or killed. Carrie was upset that this happened to her friends and she never went up to the surface again and lived in fear that she would one day get caught like her friends did. This story crushed Billy heart his friends almost died in a fishing net and Carries friends got taken away by one.

Billy and his friends say good bye to Carrie and head out. When they get outside they notice that the ground is covered in trash. The school of fish say goodbye as well and leave to head home for the day. Billy and his friends decide to go over to Billys. But first they pile all the trash up and cover it up with a net so that it doesn't float all over. 1 million sea animals are killed every year due to the trash in the ocean, Billy and his friends are trying to do their best to stop the trash from spreading all over and try to keep it from hurting other animals.
