he sunny meadow was full of flowers. Little Mary collected some flowers for her mother and was looking at red poppies and blue cornflowers. Suddenly, she heard a strange sound in the grass...

Mary wanted to see the animal making that sound. She slowly went closer to it. She was moving closer, and slower... but... The sound stopped and she couldn't see anything in the grass. Where are you? ‒ asked Mary. The only animal she saw was a little red ladybug hanging from a tall grass. ‒ You aren't that animal, she said.
Suddenly, Mary heard another strange sound on her left...
Mary slowly turned left and went closer to it. She was moving closer, and slower... but... The sound stopped and she couldn't see anything in the grass. ‒ I can't see you, said Mary. The only animal she saw was a spider hanging on a spiderweb. ‒ You aren't that animal, she said. ‒ You are quiet all the time.
Suddenly, Mary heard another strange sound on her right...
Mary slowly turned right and went closer to it. She was moving closer, and slower... but... The sound stopped and she couldn't see anything in the grass. Where is it? ‒ asked Mary. The only animal she saw was a little grasshopper sitting in the poppy flower. ‒ You aren't that animal, she said. ‒ You make a different sound.
Suddenly, Mary heard another strange sound behind her back...
Mary slowly turned back and went closer to it. She was moving closer, and slower... but... The sound stopped and she couldn't see anything in the tall grass. What is it? ‒ asked Mary. The only animal she saw was a little frog holding a tiny stick in its mouth. ‒ You aren't that animal, she said. ‒ You make another sound.
Finally, Mary went home and gave the flowers from the meadow to her mother.
On the next day Mary came to the meadow with her Teddy Bear. This time she didn't look for mysterious creatures. She laid down on the grass and closed her eyes. She was just listening.
Then her mother came. ‒ What are you doing? ‒ she asked. ‒ I'm listening to the Radio Meadow. You can join me, said Mary. Thus, both of them were listening to the sounds of their meadow.
