Swim-tastic!
Have you ever done swimming before? Well if not, this book will tell you how to be prepared if you ever swim in your life! So if you're ready, then dive into this book and have fun reading!
At first swimming may not be fun, but after sometime you will understand how it feels to swim. (this may not occur to everyone).

Which way do we go?
Swimming can be done in multiple areas, but the only thing is that it has to be in an area where there is water. The best place you could possibly swim is in a pool. A pool is an area of water surrounded with a border of concrete and can be from 82 to 164 feet (25 to 50 meters). In a competition pool there are lane lines which separates each swimmer into its own lane, so they do not bump into each other when they are swimming.

Why is swimming good for you?
Swimming helps your body get stronger and reduces stress. One hour of swimming can burn off up to 650 calories. It also helps you stay healthy and flexible. The only time you shouldn't swim is after lunch, because you still might be digesting food and also might experience muscle cramps.

Skillful Strokes!
There are 4 main strokes in swimming. The strokes are freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke.
Freestyle: A easy and fast stroke, also ssssssssssss called front crawl.
Backstroke: The only stroke swum on
your back, with the swimmer looking up.


Butterfly: A powerful and tiring stroke, uses dolphin kick and is the least popular stroke.
Breaststroke: The most relaxing stroke, which competitive swimmers find difficult


Equipment!
There are a lot of different kinds of equipment that can help us in swimming. The basic ones are kickboards, pull buoys, paddles, mitts, and weighted dive rings.
Kickboards: A useful buoyancy aid. It helps help strengthen your legs.
Pull Buoys: A thing designed only for your ddddddddd arms to work. They fit length wise between ccccccccccc your legs, just above your knees.
